Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Tuckahoe

This house is perfect for a small family looking to visit the area. The location was great for us as we have family nearby and normally have to stay over 30 mins away when we come. The house is beautifully decorated with cute farmhouse vibes to fit the area. We did have a few cleanliness concerns but we made the host aware and she was outstanding with her responsiveness and willingness to resolve any issues that were brought to her. I truly believe the issue was with the cleaning company not completing their job to the best of their ability but I trust that the host is going to take care of it for future guests. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Chelsea is a wonderful host with great communication and we would love to stay here again when we return.

We booked a last minute spring break trip with 2 kids and a small dog. We loved how private the property was and the fenced in yard was more than enough space for our dog to run around. The location was great and we were able to visit the Richmond zoo, Maymont, and spend time with some local friends while having a calm retreat to get rest between activities. We arrived late at night and had no issues finding the property or getting inside despite it being a little ways off a main road. The next morning we were happily surprised to see some donkeys across the street at the neighbor’s property! We enjoyed breakfasts at Eat 33 (such friendly staff and delicious food!) and our favorite dinner was at El Zocalo Mexican Restaurant (a must visit!).

This was our second stay at this house - very comfortable and convenient to all of the things to do in the Richmond area. Very nice, quiet, peaceful neighborhood. It will be our go to place to stay when visiting Richmond. Claude is an excellent host.

Home was quiet and tucked away from commercial areas, but close enough to all amenities! Alex was helpful and always very quick to respond. Great spot overall!

It was a pleasure to stay at the cottage! From the kind extras like breakfast treats in the fridge to the fresh tulips, it was a lovely experience. The screened in porch was fabulous with the warm spring days. The furniture was comfortable and inviting to sit and stay a while. I’d love to return again!

House was very clean and priced well. Location was safe and felt like it was a higher end area when driving around. We never felt unsafe at the local grocery store and restaurants down the street. Location is close to the highway between Richmond and Williamsburg. It was an easy 1 hour drive down the highway to see historical Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Hampton, VA. It was also very close to Cold Harbor an dGaines Mill Civil War battlefields for a quick thing to do if you have some down time. They have walking trails at the battlefields to take a quick hike. Check in was easy with just entering the passcode in the door. Place had a fully stocked kitchen that made meal preparation easy. Place is very private and surrounded by trees making you fell out in the country. There is a neighbor that shares the driveway but you cannot see their house at all and it felt removed from them. There is only one neighbor that you see coming and going when you leave the house.

We had no issues with the house. We should have verified the location before we booked because it was a bit farther than we expected, but that was on us. But getting to where we needed to be was easy and a straight shot with no traffic so the drive wasn’t bad.

Hands down the cleanest and one of the best appointed Airbnb stays I have ever had. Patrick is a terrific host and very easy to work with. His apartment is a terrific value and in a peaceful and convenient area in Richmond. His yard was perfect for our small dogs. we can't say enough good about our experience!! Just stay here if it's open!

It was a wonderful experience staying at Mary‘s place. When we walked in the place was immaculate cite with sweet touches. I would definitely recommend Mary’s place to anybody. I cannot wait to go back in the spring or summer.

Tanishia’s place was perfect for me to stay during my week working in the Richmond area. The apartment was pristine, everything seemed very new, and had everything that I needed! Will definitely stay there again!!

I cannot say enough good things about Shaniesha’s place. It’s very clean, will all the amenities you need. She is very responsive and made sure I was well taken care of during my stay!

Taryn's place was great for our short stay in Richmond. The toys for kids were appreciated by my little ones. The location was peaceful and not too far away from the city. It was exactly like the pictures and Taryn was a very responsive and helpful host. I'd recommend this home to anyone with a family looking into staying in the Richmond area, my kids liked it so much they didn't want to leave.

Sue's place was a perfect little gem in the heart of historic Church Hill! She was very responsive and when we met in person was so warm and friendly, recommended several local spots nearby, and made me feel right at home. I could tell she put a lot of thought and effort into making it an extension of her own home and that gave it a cozy feel. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, and I loved the large clawfoot tub and eclectic decor mixed with historic details. Parking was very easy and I was able to find a spot in front of the house without any issues, and the neighborhood is very walkable and picturesque, with several local restaurants within close walking distance.

Fantastic accommodations - apartment seemed close to new with plenty of room & private bathroom for each bedroom & big walk-in closets. Nice common area between bedrooms. Great dog park & areas to walk dog. Would definitely stay with Anna again & highly recommend.

We were in town for my grandson‘s wedding. Blake’s Airbnb has an amazing private location, large pond, grill, fire pit, very nice screen in porch with a great view. If you’re looking for a serenity location this is the perfect place for you. The house has been nicely renovated and very clean. We will definitely be back for a nice long weekend getaway.

The space is so lovely snd peaceful. While only ome showere there were many composting toilets and lots of trampolines. Also so many blue birds! The outdoor kitchen was well equiped and lit in the evening. The massive windows in the space was perfect for sunset. There is both a warming stove and a warming blanket if needed for warmth.

We had an amazing experience staying at J’s place. Communication with J was seamless and quick, even when we had a late-night flat tire on our check-in day. The cabin was charming, cozy, and had everything we needed. We were fortunate to meet J and his family, and when they found out I ride horses, they graciously invited me to help out at their barn and even gave me the chance to ride one of their horses, Pete. Their hospitality and kindness were truly exceptional. We highly recommend staying at J’s property—you’ll have a fantastic time and be very well cared for!

We had a lovely stay and created wonderful memories with our friends and family at this beautiful log cabin. This is the perfect place if you are looking for a remote getaway that is still easy access to Richmond, which has plenty to do. Our favorite was waking up and looking at the 3 horses, taking walks down to the river, and our kids playing together in the playroom, which has all the toys a kid could ever want. The home is absolutely beautiful, clean, and comfortable. The hosts are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. We would highly recommend staying here.

We loved this place!!! The location was very secluded and beautiful. We loved all of the amenities (especially the pizza oven, it was AMAZING) and enjoyed exploring the property on the trail. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and well stocked. The loft with the bed was a little tight and the ladder was very small if you are someone uncomfortable with heights and ladders. Also the AC unit was great, except for the fact that it is located under the loft so the cold air was very very slow to make it up to the bed, so expect to be warm at night. I loved the garage door providing access to the back deck, however there was no bug screen so we saw many little creatures in the house throughout our time. The host, Trevor, was very friendly and accommodating! He has done a great job with this place and overall we really enjoyed our stay here!
