Mökki means “cottage” in Nordic Finnish. Please spend your time as you like in a special space that is detached from your daily routine. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho in northern Nagano Prefecture, blessed with forests, lakes and snow. There are nature-rich sightseeing spots such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi in the vicinity. The building of the pioneering era was renovated fashionably with plenty of natural materials such as pure cedar, cypress and plaster.We also paid attention to the interior and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". In the back of the building, there is a forest with a stream, and you can enjoy a walk in search of the blessings of nature, as well as swing hammocks.In the east house by the river, you can enjoy BBQ and bonfires without worrying about the weather. In the green season, as a base for hiking, biking, fishing, and sup golf, the snow season is also a great base for winter sports, including skiing and snowboarding. It opened in August★ 2022. It is a hidden cottage recommended for those who want to relax in the greenery. Forget the hustle and bustle of the city, it is a comfortable environment for long-term stays on a work-cation. Enjoy a simple and luxurious time surrounded by nature with the birds chirping. We have wooden interiors with architect-designed furniture such as imported windows and blow-out interiors, and tableware is prepared with a warm atmosphere.You are also looking forward to the BBQ on the wooden deck where you feel the sound of the wooden breeze. As an optional stay from July★ 2023 I'm hosting a workshop in Kitakaruizawa You can make the soap from the handmade soap shop "tie". This is a house with a superb view overlooking Lake Nojiri. There are several ski slopes (Myoko, Kurohime, and Masao), about 15-20 minutes away, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy a wood-burning sauna and a stunning water bath. There are no private houses around, so you can also watch music and movies with loud noises. Since it is a house nestled in the mountains, we will do our best to take care of it, but during the warmer months, insects can be seen.It snows a lot in winter.In autumn, the leaves dance. You must also adjust the fire in the wood stove yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but it's got an incredible view. Enjoy cooking with a kitchen counter with stunning views, condiments, and a cooker.(There is no equipment for BBQ.)

Entire building as a private villa for all 1000 ㎡ in 7 spaces. The entire "Rock Forest" has seven main concepts. We will provide you with each "way to spend". After locally sourcing fresh ingredients, head to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and climb the stairs to carry the ingredients to the hearth space. I don't get to meet other people. From Tokyo to Karuizawa, it is 60 minutes by Shinkansen, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so for example, you can work in the morning and take a half afternoon. Please spend a relaxing and extraordinary day surrounded by nature. < Winter season November-March > During the winter season, the outside hot spring is closed.

It also has good access to Manza Onsen, Kusatsu Onsen, downtown Karuizawa, Parcard Tsumagoi Ski Resort, and Lazawa Ski Resort (80% sunny rate in winter). Hotel Green Plaza Karuizawa is within walking distance of the day hot spring (700m). Karuizawa Toy Kingdom (4 minutes by car).
