Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places nearby such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. Feel free to use the entire building, which has been renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, as well as the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery and the forest where the stream flows.You can see birds, squirrels, and martens in the forest, and you can enjoy walking around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid attention to the interior of the room and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". At the pavilion by the stream, you can enjoy BBQs and campfires without worrying about the weather. In the green season, it is the perfect base for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, and golf, and in the snow season, it is also the perfect base for winter sports. Building 01 features an authentic tree house that will tickle your sense of adventure. Building 02 has a spacious dog run where you can run around freely with your dog. Each building has a charming design that is full of playfulness. For large groups, it is also possible to book both buildings 01 and 02. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

After procuring fresh ingredients locally, move to the Rock Forest, park your car in the parking lot, and go up the stairs to bring the ingredients to the hearth space. You won't see any other people. It is 60 minutes by Shinkansen from Tokyo to Karuizawa, and 30 minutes by car from Karuizawa Station, so you can work in the morning and take a half-day off in the afternoon, for example.
