We enjoyed here a full month in May 2025. Strong points: - First of all, the apartment was CLEAN. I confess my wife is a cleanliness freak, she had very minor objections regarding the cleanliness. This is really rare for her! - The owners were very receptive to all our requests. - The apartment is very big. It can easily accommodate 2 families with kids (middle bedroom is equipped for children), if they can manage the usage of the only bathroom. However, the shower and the toilet are each isolated in it's own space, meaning that shower, toilet and sink can be used by 3 persons in the same time. - A beautiful beach is 200 mtrs away. - Bus stop at 100 mtrs. - A restaurant just across the street, fair cooking and prices. Weak points: - Hot water is produced by solar panels. Next morning after a cloudy day the water may be not hot enough. - The location is in an quite isolated neighbourhood, so if you are a fan of nightlife (not our case, however) you must rent a car or use a taxi.

Nathalie was super, she helped us in every way possible. Having a nice clean and tidy home is important, but the real difference is made by people! The housekeeper Sharmela also kept the house in perfect order and prepared a delicious Mauritian lunch for us. The house is perfect for children who can play safely. We recommend a stay of at least 7 days so you don't suffer too much when you leave the house. Thanks to all the staff

We stayed 4 nights at Anne and Dominique's. The house is very clean and very cozy. We were with our two children, they also loved this house. Anne and Dominique are extraordinary, kind and extremely welcoming people. I recommend this house 10000% go there without a second thought you won't be disappointed!!! Thank you again for hosting us. We will keep a wonderful memory of Tamarin thanks to you. We were there to celebrate my spouse's 40th birthday, the hosts had thought to get a chocolate cake and put a "happy birthday" decoration on the wall. We had an amazing stay at this spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained apartment. Its location is perfect, with many restaurants, a shopping center, and popular beaches just a short distance away. The apartment is well-kept, offers 24/7 security, and includes dedicated parking - everything we needed for a hassle-free stay. Christopher is a great host. He dropped by during our check-in and thoughtfully walked us through all the apartment amenities. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful stay in Mauritius!

Both Virginia and Reena were fantastic. We felt they went over and above to make sure we were well looked after and happy. The house is fabulous, probably better than the photos, the views are stunning. Some of our stay we were the only ones on the property and always felt safe and secure. This was our second time at Flamboyant View and we plan to return.

Perfect location, beautiful apartment with everything you need inside: a small balcony to enjoy the sun in the morning during breakfast, a lounge area with two swings to relax when returning from visits, a fully-equipped kitchen and a modern bathroom. Not to mention the outside with its large swimming pool, its well-stocked weight room, the relaxation area, the barbecue area... everything is magnificent. Great hosts who advise you on the best things to visit, very kind, respectful, attentive and attentive. I was able to share a barbecue and rum evening with them and it was perfect. I would 1000% recommend it and I will come back, that's for sure! See you soon.

pleasant accommodation. The only downside is the road is quite dangerous to get out and the beach is difficult to access on foot because there is no sidewalk to go to the beach of the basin.

Fantastic location, directly on the beach, really quiet. House is decorated with taste and really feel comfortable. The pool is not too deep so rather safe. The beach is really quiet and nice. Swimming is easy and not deep for a long while. East coast is more exposed to wind but end of June we had pleasant weather every days, despite some occasional rain that never lasted long. Asmita the cleaning lady is really friendly but also knows to be discreet. She was really taking good care of the house and us. It’s a real plus to have her. A car is a must to quickly go around, shopping or for dinner. We hope to come back one day.

Jaqueline’s place is a true gem—compact yet fully equipped and beautifully designed. It looks even better in person and instantly felt like home. Just 200 meters from the beach and a short walk to a large supermarket, the location is perfect. Wish we had an extra day to enjoy it!

The house is pretty and has all the amenities you need. The neighborhood is quiet and private. The location of the property is good as it takes only 45 minutes to an hour to get to any sight on the island in any direction. The grocery stores and malls nearby are between 8 to 20 minutes away by car. The host is very responsive, and his parents, who manage the property, are helpful. I recommend staying at this property if you want to stay in this area.

we had a great stay in this very nice apartment. feels like home. we have done a lot of cooking , the kitchen has all what you need. everything was good, the bed, the seating area, the terrace with nice view on nature. the area is very quiet and Ashwin mother is very friendly et very helpful. we will surely come back to this place if, hopefully on day, we ever come back to Grand Baie.

I was really lucky to be able to stay in this cottage. The whole house is exactly as pictured. It is a very distinctive wooden cottage. The ceiling height feels like 5 meters. It is very large and spacious. All the amenities are very complete. We will go to the supermarket in the afternoon to buy groceries and cook at home.My favorite is the big balcony, it's so comfortable to watch the scenery while feeling the breeze. The host is very nice, always very responsive, and provided us with great convenience, really super nice!I would recommend staying here to every Chinese friend who comes here!🥰🥰 Thanks a lot

My family had a wonderful stay at Daren’s apartment! It is very close to the beach, it’s clean and most importantly, Daren is a fantastic host. He was responsive, flexible and very helpful with all requests. Definitely recommend staying here! :)

A nice and large studio with a great terrace. Very quiet yet centrally located. The beach and restaurants are within walking distance in about 10 minutes. If you want to drive to other beaches, a scooter or car is recommended. The landlords are very pleasant. There is plenty of hot water, the kitchen is well equipped and the rooms can be darkened with curtains. The bed is comfortable, the AC cools down, although it is also a bit noisy. Earplugs can help here. Everything is divided as shown in the pictures: a bathroom, a kitchen with seating, a bedroom and a living room with sofa and dining table.

Beautiful apartment just across the beach, the view from the balcony was amazing. Lot of restaurants in walkable distance and Bil was very helpful with reccos.

it was a fantastic stay of 5 days with family... Jenny and Vincent were very responsive and helpful... the only thing I would mention, being an Indian, we were feeling need of a foster or jet spray in the WC... :-)

Great apartment right on the beach. Wonderful view of the sea from the terrace. Totally quiet location. You only hear the sea and birds chirping. You can take fantastic walks on the beach. The apartment has lots of space. Kitchen and bathroom were without blemish. It was all there what we needed. Roumila responded to our requests at any time. Absolutely recommended place if you are looking for piece and tranquility. Nearby is not as much as other places on the island, but it was exactly what we were looking for. A big thank you to Roumila
