Very nice stay at this wonderful lakefront chalet! We wanted to canoe, finally we did hikes in the snow, but the landscape and the cottage are magical! If I come back to the area, I will not hesitate to return to Virginia's!

Everything was perfect!

We had a great time at Sophie's place! Great for 2 people, in a very quiet place, by the river, minutes from Shawinigan, we were able to rest and enjoy the beautiful Mauricie Park (about 30 minutes by car from the Saint Jean des Piles entrance).

My friends and I had an incredible stay at Spamania. Staying here each year in March has become a treasured tradition. The hot tub and saunas are just divine and contribute to the relaxing environment.

France and Carl were so lovely and kind. Carl was a great host and France was so knowledgable about the area. They greeted us with drinks and snacks, and upon our check out, they offered us coffee for the road. If you are visiting Quebec, come stay here! 💗

Fantastic cabin retreat in the fall for visiting family in the area. The river is beautiful and accessible from the dock. The stairs to the dock need repair but we were able to enjoy non-the-less. Superb rental! We hope to return someday!

peaceful and relaxing

I wish that the cabin had been available for a longer duration during our availability. I can see this as being a great place to get away from the city to relax. Real log cabin feel and smell of wood walls, so clean and de-cluttered. I can see evenings spent playing cards and listening to the forest sounds. Very relaxing.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The location by the water is simply exceptional, unparalleled serenity. The spa and hot tub were a real treat, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The house is equipped with modern and functional appliances, making our stay even more comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean, and the responsiveness of the hosts made all the difference. We will come back without hesitation!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The living spaces are large, the grounds are wooded, beautiful activities in the surroundings. It went very well!
