You will have your own entrance to the apartment. From the bedroom entrance to the TV room/kitchenette with the possibility of sleeping 2 people on the sofa bed. From the TV room, there is access to a private bathroom/toilet. There will be the opportunity to store things in a refrigerator with a small freezer. There is an electric kettle so you can make coffee and tea. In the kitchenette, there is 1 mobile hot plate and 2 small pots as well as 1 oven No frying in the room. Relax in the unique and tranquil tower right in the middle of nature. Possibility of good walks and bike rides in the area. Tempur mattresses in the bedroom. We have associated party rooms for about 100 guests that can be rented separately. The price depends on the number of guests and is agreed upon at the time of booking. The tower can be rented as a bridal suite and is a great place to free. You have the entire apartment of 74 m2 to yourselves and are welcome to use the terrace in front, as well as the lake area

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Cabin to the nature lovers

Experience nature close to Rørbæk lake, at the Jutland ridge, (30 min. walk from the cabin), springs Denmark's two largest rivers, Gudenåen and Skjernåen, with only a few hundred meters distance and runs in different directions towards the sea(10 min. walk from the cabin) In the same place, Hærvejen crosses the river valley. Wake up every day with different birdsong. From Billund airport by bus it is about 2 hours to the cabin We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two Airbnb apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex.
