This stay was one of the best. We entered the house and felt like home. Cosy, spacious and a great host that writes back within minutes. We loved the style of the house, the different areas to spread out and the nice little garden at the front. Very nice stay. Never have seen such a clean apartment. We were there in winter. In summer, the closeness of the property to the sea and the marina may be an asset. Recommend visiting the rooftop and its 360 degree view of the Japanese alps, sea and the city. Could be a nice place for a barbecue or evening drink.

This was the best accommodation we had during our 2-week trip to Japan - Shinzi is a wonderful and generous host! Check-in was smooth, and he provided written instructions on home location, house rules, how to use appliances, and fun things to do in the area. The house was exactly as advertised; we appreciated the traditional Japanese style rooms and garden. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the shower had good water pressure with hot water. The futon beds were comfortable, and we slept great each night. It's a very quiet area with minimal street noise, and it's an easy 15-minute walk back to Toyama station. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for. Shinzi was friendly and attentive; he provided us cab fare, scheduled a taxi for us when we checked out, left us delicious treats in the fridge, and surprised us with a very thoughtful gift during check-out. Shinzi, we will always remember your kindness towards us during our honeymoon - THANK YOU SO MUCH!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home! . Tucked away from the main road, the house offers a peaceful and quiet environment. Inside, it’s beautifully decorated—clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed to ensure comfort and safety. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating. When we arrived at the house, the entire house was clean, and we were impressed by the huge 75" TV, projector as well as the number of amenities that the host has supplied. If I return to Takaoka, I would definitely stay here again. I’ll also be recommending this place to my family and friends visiting the area. A well-deserved five-star experience!

This property was very cozy and we felt right at home. The host very kindly welcomed us when we first checked in, and gave us a very informative tour. We really enjoyed the way she put the place together. All facilities were very clean. Parking was also very convenient. Thank you for having us!

Five stars isn’t enough, the perfect relaxing location! Surrounds are so beautiful and peaceful and the sauna/spa was the best part of our Japan trip. Muto was so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed, from collecting us at the train station to taking us to the beach, as well as cooking delicious breakfasts and some of the best cakes we have ever eaten. The accomodation is of a luxury standard, but feels very intimate and cozy. Lying in the bath looking out into nature is a truly special experience that we will not forget.

Beautiful traditional Japanese home in a great location! The home itself has everything you need, with a convenient parking spot. It is walking distance to a lovely park which was stunning with the cherry blossoms, you can hire bikes nearby which were great for getting around the city. Highly recommend.

I had a long stay of 3 months at Marina’s house. The location was perfect for enjoying Toyama city. A bike was provided but I didn’t need to use it much because the local tram transportation got me everywhere I wanted to go. I would happily do another long or short term stay if I am able to!

富山駅から近く、アクセスがいいです。宿周辺には有名な日本酒、勝駒を扱っている酒屋、おつまみを買うためのスーパーが徒歩5分圏内にあり、夜はそこでお酒とおつまみを買って楽しみました。また、銭湯も近くにあるので、そこでお風呂を済ますのも良いかと思います。部屋も値段からすれば破格の内容です。かなりおすすめです。

Great home away from home. We based ourselves in Toyama to do some of the famous cycling courses. T port was perfect for us, great apartment accommodation close to transport supermarkets and Toyama’s city center.
