We had a great stay at Mikkun’s Airbnb. It was clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough for our family of three—could easily fit four. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the clear instructions for appliances and Wi-Fi were very helpful. There’s a large bed and a sofa-cum-bed our daughter used comfortably. The location is lively and walkable, with easy access to the station and plenty of places to eat nearby. A few things to note: the apartment is on the 4th floor with no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage was a bit challenging. Also, there's a karaoke bar on the 2nd floor, which can be a bit noisy at night—but earplugs are thoughtfully provided. Mikkun was a kind and responsive host. Highly recommended!

Only stayed a night but if we had stayed in Takayama this would have been an excellent place for it. Amazing location that was so walkable to the best places, new building that looks fantastic inside, shower room and bath was a highlight.

Entire house for rent, up to 2 people!! Free bicycle

ChidoriRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Two of us stayed for 2 nights, but it was a very clean, comfortable and functional room. The parking lot was easy to find, and the convenience store was just a minute's walk away, which was convenient.I cooked my own meals, and although the kitchen was small, it had everything I needed, and there was also a washing machine, so it was a pleasant place to stay. The bath is small, but it is a famous hot spring area, so it is recommended to enjoy the bath outside. Also, the unit bath is small, but it has a dryer function, so even though my clothes got quite wet in the rain this time, they dried quickly. There is also a clothesline hanging from the ceiling in the bedroom, so it was useful for drying clothes after washing. It was quiet and warm with double glazed windows. Also, by putting a carry-on under the bed, we were able to use the room more freely, and although it was a relatively small room, two adults had a comfortable stay.Thank you!

The location couldn’t have been better, with easy access to everything we wanted to see and do in the city. What really made the experience stand out was our host, Takara, who was incredibly warm, helpful, and quick to respond whenever we had questions.

This was a great place to stay for a couple nights in Kanazawa. It's in a quiet neighbourhood, so not close to any sights or restaurants, but it was only a 10-15 minute walk to the train station. Tomoya was super responsive, which we really appreciated!

We loved this Airbnb. It was definitely a favorite. It is actually set up as a super cool hostel, but our family of four had the place to ourselves. It is very big with multiple rooms and sleeping options, including one with bunk beds that my kids enjoyed. There is also a an area for kids that had big rolling toys that the kids also enjoyed. Everything is labeled clearly and anything that you might need is provided, including bikes! The host is also kind and responsive. I hope that you get the chance to stay here. It is definitely highly recommended!

Octagon House 201/Hakuba/BBQ/Ski/4WD car rental

JuddRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our family of four loved our stay at Aishi's place. The place was huge and even had a covered porch to sit on to enjoy the mountain views. The bedrooms were good sized and having multiple bathrooms was appreciated. There were even two full sinks with vanity mirrors and hair dryers outside of the bathrooms, so people could get ready while others showered. It had one of the best stocked kitchens we've come across in 7+ months of travel. Any pot, pan, dish or utensil we needed was there. There was also plenty of parking available. We would highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Hakuba.

Our stay here was absolutely lovely. The villa is even more lovely than in the pictures, was super clean and had great amenities. The host was so friendly and helpful and very responsive over message. We really enjoyed how beautiful and peaceful the area is, and there are lots of lovely local cafes and restaurants a short drive away, as well as lots of hiking opportunities. We would love to stay here again if we are ever back in Japan. Thanks so much!

This place was beautiful. The design was architecturally on point and the sauna was a lovely bonus. Basically a brand new home. Extremely clean and excellent communication. The seperate levels and rooms for privacy is great and two bathrooms was great for a group of 6! We ended up hiring a car as we were able to see more in the time we had. We really enjoyed this home. The restaurant below was really good. A lovely and kind family man. Thank you so much!🫶

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Matsumoto! The location is absolutely perfect – close to everything we needed: great food, cute shops, and sightseeing spots. The house itself is stylish, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches. Everything was so clean and well-prepared. Thank you so much – we’d love to come back again someday!

They responded quickly and kindly to our questions and requests. During my stay, I had no problems, and they introduced me to a few recommended shops, which was very helpful. I stayed with 5 colleagues for training, and we were able to relax and talk to each other without worrying about anyone, and we were able to share a fun time! It was nice to stay here! It is also close to the morning market and the old town, which is convenient, and I would recommend it to everyone. Thank you! If I had to be selfish, I thought it would be nice to have a bath chair (this was an opinion that was divided among my colleagues).

Excellent location along the river

GigiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
I rarely write reviews, but I must leave one for Naomi. We checked in on May 20 and checked out on 23. An elderly lady greeted us warmly at the door, showed us around the house, and even thoughtfully turned on the air conditioner for us (the weather was hot). The house looked exactly like the pictures and was very convenient, within walking distance to everything. It was about a 15 min walk to Takayama Station, 14 min to the old town, and just a short walk to the morning market. The room was clean, and the water pressure was good. On the second day, we needed an iron. I texted Naomi, and she delivered it within 10 min , so fast and helpful! On the third day, during check-out, we asked how to get a taxi because we had a lot of luggage. She kindly offered to call one for us. While we were waiting at the station, she came and handed me some clothes I had forgotten in the dryer. We were so touched and thankful, without her, I wouldn’t have had any sleepwear! Highly recommended!
