Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Townshend

I stayed at the Tiny House with my significant other and our dog for a small, private getaway during our anniversary. It was a nice, cozy little home for us which we all enjoyed. It was also great to be right next to a grocery store and near downtown Keene for food and activities.

The place was great! Adorable home in a great location. Restaurant's, grocery stores, and activities were all within 5 min from the home, yet it was still on a nice quiet street. Had all the amenities listed which made it super easy to cook meals. Directions for check in and check out were very clear and easy to follow. Virginia and Dan were amazing hosts, easy to communicate with, hospitable, and very attentive. Definitely a place I would highly recommend!

Melanie’s place was terrific! It is a great comfortable place, plenty of size for the whole family. We cooked great family meals in the evening and enjoyed the board games in the house. Approximately equal distance to Stratton, Magic or Mt Snow- 25min

Had a lovely holiday week in Nancy’s home! We felt right at home. The home was cozy and beautifully sun lit in the mornings ! Nancy had decorated before leaving and it was adorable and sweet. The yard was amazing for my 2 large dogs - they ran around and found toys to play with. The area was walkable with sidewalks that were mostly cleared after the snow. Hilly for sure ! Good workout hehe Super close to MassMoCA and the center of North Adams. Walked a few times with the dogs. There’s a dog run near by as well. A short drive from Bennington, Pittsfield and a handful of ski resorts. We had a great stay. Friendly neighbors, communicative host and lovely surroundings :) would love to be back!

I genuinely don't know what to say other than the fact that this may be one of the greatest places I've had the honor to lodge at. I did a lot of vetting across New England to find a wonderful place that could sleep a decent amount of people, provide a scenic and comfortable escape, and keep us entertained. Sarah's wonderful Stone and Sky Lodge exceeded every expectation I just listed. It's cozy, warm, and feels like a hidden nook! The scenery and nature couldn't be more beautiful. I never got the pleasure to meet Sarah, though I wish I did. Over messages and from what my friends told me, I just know that Sarah is the most hospitable and kind host that I've talked with in a while, and I hope that next time I can thank her personally. From my friends and I, we thank you for sharing your home with us. If you think that the excellent reviews are too good to be true, don't. This IS the truth, and I can't wait to have another reason to come back to this wonderful treasure of a place.

Kimberley's place was the perfect weekend getaway, with plenty of space, a very responsive host, and exactly as described on the website. Had we not brought our own boardgames to play, she even has a nice collection to stay busy now matter what the weather is outside. Would love to stay there again next time I am planning a board gaming trip!

Surrounding area was very peaceful and the wrap around porch was a great way to see the nature. We loved the wood burning stove. Eccentric details and the space felt lived in.

A fun winter break/birthday getaway! Sarah’s house had plenty of bedrooms for all guests. The game room, pool table, and wood stove/fireplace were great to have on these cold February days. Everyone enjoyed the sunroom and large dining table. The hot tub and outdoor sleds were used as well. The history of the house and beautiful views from the property were an interest to all. I bet this house is a lovely spot in the summer as well!

Another great weekend at Ed’s! It was our group’s second time staying here, and we loved it just as much as the first, which is to say—a lot! Ed is very considerate and responsive, and there’s plenty to do for everyone. We are already looking forward to next year!

There is not enough to say about the pristine beauty that is Loraine’s cabin. The instructions were helpful in navigating into the property and lights were turned on as it was dark to assure my comfortable arrival. The cabin feels like a nurturing home and is equipped with comforts and small touches. The bed was neatly made and felt like a picture walking in to see it. The stairs are cabin stairs and there is caution to take your time and step gently. Seemingly every question was answered with small notes around the cabin and a detailed welcome book. The care and attention to detail was perfection in a stay. I only wish I had been on a longer trip to fully enjoy the grounds and the surroundings. It was easy to feel at home and welcome with Loraine and Dean as hosts.

We have stayed at Carol’s other campers but this was our first time at Trigger’s cabin. Great rustic accommodations and a beautiful spot right on the pond. It is such a peaceful spot to disconnect and enjoy nature. Carol is a great host and we plan to be back again.

This was my third time staying on Rosalind's property, but my first time in the "retreat" unit. The space is better in person than in the photos! It's a spacious two level unit with a huge bedroom/loft type area, perfect for setting up your yoga mat! The high ceilings and large forest facing windows in the bedroom were a highlight for me. Rosalind has always been a very responsive, thoughtful, and flexible host. I can't wait to stay again!

Lenore’s Place made us feel right at home. The cozy fireplace setting is perfect for a cold day. Lenore even baked delicious fresh banana muffins and was so gracious. The sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. The decorating was very well done. This space provided a very tranquil one night stay for us.

We had a blast! We took our dog Anica with us and everywhere was so dog friendly. We loved the area, so peaceful and quiet! Would have liked a bit more privacy as far as the curtains go however I understand wanting to have natural sunlight peaking through. Overall such a great find and Sean was fantastic!

We had a great stay at the Hollywood Bungalow. House was described accurately and had so many thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome. Diana met us upon arrival and walked us around the property and the house. Such a great host! She had generously provided snacks, treats and gave a thorough overview for our stay. We were primarily focused on skiing at Jiminy Peak which was a short 20 minute drive. We also brought our 5 year-old rescue who had the best vacation of her life. She was able to use the fenced-in backyard to run around off leash and even meet a new friend when Jackson's dog visited. Diana even shoveled walking paths in the yard throughout our stay so we could get around in the high snow. The Screening Room is awesome and provided hours of entertainment. Quiet street and picturesque location. We will definitely return.

Alecia and John were meticulous hosts from the well curated guide book to their responsiveness when we had questions. All made for a wonderful family fourth of july! We look forward to returning.

What an amazing place to visit Vermont. I had a great time at the little red house. The place is beautiful and quiet. It is a 12 min drive to Mount Snow. Joe has a bunch of classic DVDs and we enjoyed some of them during our stay. The place is very clean and there is warm water and WiFi.

My family really enjoyed the stay. It is super close to Mt Snow (6 minutes) but since we’ve had all our bookings at the Stratton Mountain- we went there ( about 20 minute drive which was super fast and convenient). Very clean home with clean bathroom and sheets. My kids didn’t want to leave. Justin was always responsive and very friendly. But there weren’t any issues we needed to contact him about. Would come back again. It was a perfect winter break for us. Thank you Justin and Adriana.

They were upfront about the noise, and it really wasn’t much of an issue at all. Certainly noise from others, but nothing for concern. Enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay so much! The place was nice and clean and quiet, perfectly organised and thought through. Karen was a welcoming, friendly, and helpful host. I wish more AirBnBs were like this! Would be happy to return someday.

The stay itself was wonderful! As advertised, it was well within walking distance from the downtown area, was cozy, and looked exactly like the pictures showed. 5/5 stars What pushed it over the edge from a good Airbnb to GREAT, was the attention Jennifer paid to small additional details - little chocolates to welcome us, snacks intentionally set out for us, water bottles, and a few other things speak to how good of a host she is. 6/5 stars 5/5 stars for Jennifer and her lovely apartment, 3/5 stars for Airbnb: we didn't get a message from Airbnb until we were checking out that her messaging wasn't working, so a couple messages went unanswered. Jennifer had put her number in 3 different locations explaining this, so she was super proactive, we were just a little unobservant in seeing that.

Really great spot for a smaller group, has everything you need in one go. Great bed to sleep on too!

Beautiful home in the mountains! We enjoyed the breathtaking view and loved that it was only about 15 minutes from downtown Manchester. Great get away!
