Timber loft studio flat - private and cosy

TrueRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great time staying at Jan and Martin’s place. The loft itself was just perfect. It had everything we needed and was such a homey space to come back to. The surroundings on the property are so lovely and private. Lots of greenery and birdsong. We deeply enjoyed using the footpath right next to the entrance to the drive to walk to the Bugle Horn a few times on our trip as well. A lovely walk through some sheep paddocks and farm fields - we even saw a badger on one of our treks! We enjoyed the quiet picturesque quality of the local area overall and also found it to be quite commutable for excursions to London and other attractions like the Jane Austen House/the cotswolds via car/train. Took us about an hour for each of those locations. As for our hosts, Jan and Martin were a pleasure. They mostly left us to ourselves but were available whenever we needed help and allowed us to do a small load of laundry in their washer/dryer as well which we greatly appreciated! Highly recommend!

Modern Apartment in Haddenham!

We have had a wonderful break in David’s beautiful immaculate apartment. I took two teenagers who were over the moon with the playing fields and goals across from the apartment and I could watch them from The lovely balcony. There is a lovely coffee shop called norsk in the village for breakfast, the coop was great underneath the building and a burger van was across the road which we went to one night - it was very good. Felt so at home and would highly recommend. We will be back.

Cosy little country Cottage

NicolaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We spent an enjoyable 3 weeks in this very old cottage which has been tastefully and sympathetically restored keeping its original low beams and features. Sydenham is a charming Oxfordshire village very close to the Chilterns. It’s an ideal place to explore from. There are lovely walks and views. It’s an easy drive to the market town of Thame and other thatched villages, many of which appear in Midsomer Murders. The Crown opposite provides pub meals and has a lovely garden.

Newly refurbished 2 bedroom annex with parking.

We had a wonderful stay at Alison's place. It is even more beautiful in real life than the pictures show. The garden is wonderful and if you walk to the end of the garden, the view out over the countryside (with your morning coffee in hand) is a really lovely start to the day. The accommodation had everything you need for your stay and was spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Lovely self contained apartment in Oxfordshire

LuiseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The accommodation was as described, with easy check in and for me was an excellent location near the town centre and a local venue I needed to be close to. It was a quiet, clean space and provided what I needed. Sharon was a responsive host and I would consider staying here again.

Lovely little place - clean with all you need and off road parking. Bit of noise from the road outside so had to shut the bedroom windows at night.
