If you are a solo traveler, working remotely, or just looking for a relaxing few days/weeks of surfing (or all of the above), this is the place to be. There is a reason why several guests are return visitors or end up extending their stay. The house is spacious with clean and comfortable communal areas, fully stocked kitchen, and strong wifi. I was working remotely during my week here and was able to have a desk in the bedroom to ensure a quiet work space. Claire and Duncan really go above and beyond and have created a really special place. They even helped me get to the train station 30 minutes away! (Thank you again!!!) Before booking, I was nervous about committing to surf lessons as I had never tried before. However, I ended up having SO much fun in the water and had amazing lessons from Dane. 10/10 will be recommending this place to anyone I know coming to Peniche!

Best accommodation I've ever been to. Diogo is a spectacular person, always ready to help with anything you need. Immaculately clean space, luxury breakfast. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Electric bicycles and space to charge the electric car. I couldn't be more satisfied with this accommodation.

Alex's place was perfectly located for us as we had travelled to Baleal to surf. We were able to walk to the beach in 5 minutes. The property is spacious with three bedrooms and an open plan kitchen, dinning area. There is also a roof terrace where you can see the sunset from. Alex was responsive when we messaged him and he kindly lent us one of his surfboards which we really appreciated. There were a few minor issues that need attending to but they did not interfer with our stay nor our enjoyment of the property. We have a great time in Baleal and are thinking of returning. We would happily stay with Alex again if the place is available.

Our experience has been very good The house is very large and has everything, there is no lack of anything, lots of tableware, glassware, cutlery, all appliances, etc. It is just as seen in the photos. Amadeo was very attentive to everything, on the first day he gave us many food products and wines from Portugal, in addition every morning they left us bread in the knob of the door of the estate. We celebrated the pre-boda of our son who was married in Lisbon and invited many family and friends, Amadeo did not put problems and brought us Portuguese food for the guests. The only downside we can put is that we had problems with the power of the light, although Amadeo told us that I was fixing it.

its a huge house / farm, in a peacefull area. we had a great time with our families, next to the barbecue and swimming pool. also we enjoy some nice evenings playing pool, and even going around with the dog and our little one in the farm, where juicy apples grow. was a very nice experience for all of us and the host was a very nice lady.

The Indigo Windmill was an experience to remember. Andrea is an extremely generous and gracious host. The accommodations were incredibly well thought out and had every convenience I could have asked for. The outdoor area is incredible and well equipped so I didn't have to carry things down to it. A couple of my friends from Lisbon joined for a day and we had more that enough room to enjoy. They were beside themselves when they saw it. The spa was hot and clean. The bike rental is convenient and the lit path to the beach is a gem. The town itself boasts convenient markets, great food, and a quiet easy attitude that made me feel right at home right away. Andrea checked in with me, offered suggestions, and had a great personable way about him. It is easy to make memories in such a wonderful space and I am grateful that Andrea chose to share it with me.
