It’s a really nice apartment and you can see the love put into place. The kitchen is outstanding well equipped and you don’t miss anything you need for a stay in Santa Cruz. Definitely can recommend the apartment and João as a host as he was always helpful and making sure we had a wonderful stay.

Great location, walkable to the beach and all the restaurants in town. Residence is situated in a quiet part of town.

O apartamento tem tudo o que precisa, muito limpo e organizado. Toalhas e roupas de cama limpos, chuveiro bom. Susana foi uma ótima anfitriã, muito querida, sempre mandando mensagem perguntando se precisava de algo, como estava a estadia, e nos deu recomendações do que fazer aos arredores. No check-in explicou detalhadamente sobre as comodidades do apartamento e nos deixou uma garrafa de vinho de boas vindas da adega para experimentar <3. Um pouco longe de Lisboa (cerca de 45min), mas mesmo assim conseguimos aproveitar! Recomendo a todos!

Si buscas el lugar perfecto para una escapada, este alojamiento es una elección ideal. Su impecable limpieza te hace sentir como en casa desde el primer momento. Además, la abundante luz natural crea un ambiente cálido y acogedor durante todo el día. Otro punto a destacar es su excelente ubicación, que permite moverte cómodamente y disfrutar de lo mejor de la zona, sin renunciar a la tranquilidad que tanto se valora en un viaje de descanso. Un espacio pensado para desconectar y recargar energías. ¡Totalmente recomendable!

As a group of 8 friends renting the whole hostel for two days during the winter, we had a cozy stay. The hostess was very welcoming and available by phone when we needed. The hostel was clean, beds were comfortable, air conditioning was very effective in the cold nights, hot water was enough for all baths, the sun in the terrace was a clear invite for breakfasting outside, but we also fit inside the common room for dinner where there's an extendable table. There were beaches a few minutes away by car, so we left home to watch the sunset by the sea both days, which was awesome. Being portuguese, we missed having small cups for our expressos in the kitchen, but that's an insignificant detail. We were mentally prepared for sharing a small space and we feared having a limited cooking experience, but reality overcame the expectations set by the photos! We didn't feel cluttered nor forced to dine out, and we would totally repeat the experience at the Family Surf Home!

Maria and her husband were so warm and kind welcoming us to their lovely apartment. It felt like visiting family during the Holidays. The 2nd floor corner apartment with a wrap-around balcony is nestled directly across a georgous, peaceful park. There is plenty of parking and there are ton of restaurants nearby to choose from. Marjor grocery stores are 5 min walk along the walking lane. Inside this cozy apartement is everythiing you need to accomodate you comfortably. Everything is well thought out. A separate and private living room, a fully equiped kitchen with everything needed for any occasion, and a dining area with a view to the park are just perfect to get you started. For sleep and bathroom, the bed was comfortable and the unit came with extra pillows and fan, which was greatly appreciated. The bathroom had enough room and good water pressure. To top off the visit, Maria and her husband gave us a bottle of their home made private wine from 2023. A VERY OUTSTANDING STAY. THANKS!

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the appartment. It was bigger, brighter and more open than we expected. Our kids (and us) loved the massive swimming pool - we all swam daily even when it was cold. A really great appartment - we felt right at home and we had everything we needed. Mariana also communicated clearly and quickly whenever we had questions.

This apartment was modern, very clean and had all amenities. WiFi - Dishwasher washing machine (w/liquid & tablets) iron etc. bathroom was very clean and shower was fantastic. Host left tea coffee & some little cakes as a welcome treat. Host was friendly and left clear instructions and was always available if need be. Would definitely book again. Only be aware it's 2nd floor with no lift.

Todo perfecto, el apartamento es grande, las camas un poco duras pero ya es un tema particular, lo único las sartenes estaban muy mal pero lo iban a cambiar.

Uma das melhores experiências de hospedagem que já tive, sou muito grato à Sofia por abrir sua residência com tanto aconchego para que a gente se sinta em casa mesmo viajando. A Praia de Assenta é extremamente bonita e próxima, com vista do terraço para o mar e um por do sol de tirar o fôlego. Isso sem falar na maravilhosa churrasqueira, onde fizemos as melhores refeições no local. O apartamento é até maior do que parece nas fotos, extremamente confortável, com muitos detalhes que remetem a um espaço pessoal e humano. Estadia incrível, não deixe de ir!

Que dire de ce logement! Une vue sur l’océan magique, des hôtes fantastiques! Plus sérieusement, c’est le logement parfait pour un séjour en toute tranquillité. Les hôtes sont super accueillants, n’hésitent pas à vous guider et surtout se montre généreux concernant le matériel à prêter (notamment le vélo). Je recommande fortement !!

Nos sentimos em casa. Belo apartamento muito limpo, facil estacionar, vizinho simpáticos. ótima cama, boas toalhas e roupas de cama. ficamos 30 dias e tínhamos tudo para prepararmos nossas refeições. Uma região muito bacana a ser visitada. Os donos sempre nos ajudadando no necessário.

What an incredible apartment! It’s fully equipped, immaculately clean, and the beds are so comfortable—perfect for a good night's sleep. There are also so many useful items for kids, which makes it super convenient for families. The huge terrace and jacuzzi provide such a lovely space to relax. Hugo is truly a wonderful host—so polite and kind. I really appreciate your warm hospitality! Thank you for making our stay so special!

Die Unterkunft ist so toll gelegen und riesig! Die Badewanne nach einem guten Surf einfach purer Luxus ganz zu schweigen von der tollen Küche mit allem was man braucht zum kochen. Auch die Supermärkte sind direkt um die Ecke mit dem Auto in 5 min erreichbar. Ich habe mich sehr Wohlgefühlt und danke Sara für ihre herzliche Gastfreundschaft.

The apartment is really nice! Super clean and modern and the roof top terrace is definitely a nice thing on top. In general the apartment is well equipped and I really enjoyed my stay. Claudia also was very responsive regarding questions and everything is very well explained within the apartment. I’d love to stay there again at some point.

Overall beautiful home, well equipped and very clean. Margarida was nice and always answered our calls when we needed her help. The smaller double bed and the couch were nor very comfortable. The power went out every time the drier and toaster were on at the same time. Otherwise we enjoyed the house very much.

Very nice and modern apartment in Ferrel . Ideal for a family or a small group of friends . Catarina and her mother did everything to make us feel welcome. I could easily rent the same apartment again .

Lino was super responsive to any questions/requests I had. He offered a lot of helpful local insights volunteered much help (e.g., making reservations for dinner at places impossible to book last minute). The view from all rooms are simply stunning!! Plenty of dining options near by, a few minutes drive to many wonderful beaches for swimming or surfing. Supermarket is three drive away as well, which also offer excellent cheap but nice cook to order quick bites. So much can be said about the property, location, and the host. Definitely one of the better gems from all the super hosts I have stayed with and strongly recommend to any sizable group of four to eight.

Ottima posizione, strategica, e appartamento davvero carino con vista mare. Maria ci ha accolto e ha comunicato con noi durante il soggiorno quando abbiamo avuto bisogno. È pulito e ha tutto il necessario.. anche il garage è stato fondamentale per noi.
