Everything was as described. We had nice, quiet and relaxing days. The sauna and the view of nature was our highlight.

A nice and comfortable cottage in an amazing location. Absolutely silent around, next to the lake and the forest. Really nice to relax and enjoy the nature around.

A perfect stay – just like always! After two years, we finally had the chance to return to this beautiful house – and once again, everything was just perfect! The place was as clean, well-maintained, and cozy as we remembered. The location is stunning, the amenities are excellent, and it truly feels like a home away from home. We had a wonderful stay at Sabina’s house! It was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Sabina is an amazing host—thoughtful, welcoming, and always ready to help if needed. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, making it feel like a home away from home. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time at the cabin. We got a Bolt from the city ( €65 each way ) as we did not want to hire a car. We stocked up on food and drink at the supermarket before setting off. The Cabin is truly wonderful, so peaceful with beautiful views. I knew we would have a composting toilet, however there is a very clean flushable toilet only a 3 minute walk away. I thought I would miss having a shower, but found the Finnish way of bathing in the Sauna to be enjoyable. We saw the Northern Lights both nights, dipped in the ice hole, poached in the hot tub, went for lovely walks ( and used the snow shoes! ) The bed was so comfortable we had great nights sleep. I would recommend this cabin to all. We loved it and would come back again in a heartbeat.

We spent 10 days in this beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. The magnificent lake closeby, the remoteness and still having Pello and Rovaniemi at a good driving distance, the quietness and every morning that lovely view from all of the windows, the sauna, the crisp morning air, ....we look back at a fantastic time : we fell in love with Pello-Lappi. Thank you Aini and Risto and Hanna, for letting us spend time on your property ; it was a privilege. Thank you for the personal stories you shared, for your kindness, your friendlyness. We would love to be back and see the place in an other season.

Absolutely incredible stay a Paula’s place. Amazing location, easy enough to find and perfectly quiet for a winter retreat! We will forever have magical memories of seeing the northern lights luckily enough on our first two nights! Paula could not be more helpful and more equipped if she tried. Has everything you could ever need and more! Paula even helped with recommendations and bookings for local shopping and activities, a five star getaway and we cannot wait to return! If you’re on the fence , just book you will not be disappointed 💫

The house is very quiet at the end of a street, from the living room you can look directly at the river. We had everything we needed there and the beds were very comfortable. Only the TV reception was so bad that there was no movies to watch in the evening. Otherwise, everything was fine! (:
