A house in a quiet place surrounded by quiet and stunning nature. Away from all the light pollution, in the midst of pure snow, allowing you to see and experience the magnificent Northern Lights, the starry sky, and the moonlight. You can also order ice swimming, an outdoor sauna and dining in the cottage in the glow of the fireplace. You can also order your own dog sledding in the yard of this house. Reindeer farm about 15 minutes with reindeer rides and cooking. About a 10-minute walk away, you can book a snowmobile tour and enjoy winter fishing.

There is a sauna on the beach and a terrace with a table and chairs in front of it. In addition, there is a gazebo with a fireplace and wood stove. There is a toilet outside. A boat is available, a charcoal grill can be found on the deck. Drinking water is retrieved from a natural spring with the best and clear water in the world.

Welcome to our cozy lakeside cottage with private sauna on the Arctic Circle, a warm retreat where Nordic simplicity meets soulful comfort. Set on 2.7 ha of private land with direct access to Lake Miekojärvi, it’s the perfect place to slow down, reconnect, and feel again. We are Joakim from Sweden and Jenny from Germany. We fell in love with the stillness and beauty of Arctic Finland, and we’re excited to share our cottage, and a little piece of that magic, with guests from around the world.

Are you looking for a traditional Finnish summer cottage and its authentic atmosphere? Do you want to enjoy pure nature next to great hiking trails and swimming and fishing waters? This cottage is located in a quiet location on the shore of Miekojärvi, approx. 80 km from Rovaniemi. The cottage is only for summer use and is equipped with practical and functional equipment, although it does not offer luxury. The cottage yard includes a cottage, a smoke sauna and a composting outdoor toilet.

Comfortable house in Pello

Comfortable and well-equipped totally renovated old traditional Finnish house in the bank of Tornionjoki. About 10 km north from Pello. Access to river, very big yard to play. Wood heated sauna. Room up to 8 people, very comfortable for 4-6 people in summer and for 3-4 people in Winter (2nd floor not heated during winter season) Dogs are allowed only in part of apartment. Big part of yard fenced for dogs to play. Small dogs may escape under fence keep loose only with your own risk.

Miekojärvi Resort is located at the northern end of scenic Lake Mieko in Sirkkakoski, Pello. Mieko is one of Finland’s finest catch-rich lakes and as such a very attractive destination for visitors keen on fishing. We can organise a guide to accompany you on request. For snowmobile tour groups, Miekojärvi Resort provides a fantastic base of operations. Take off on a fresh adventure each morning and return to rest and relax in a cosy sauna at the end of the day.

Modern cottage in its own peace.

A detached cottage on its own with a getaway between two large lakes. Over half a kilometer of its own shoreline. The village has a reindeer farm, as well as a husky and snowmobile safaris organizer . Both family entrepreneurs where the service plays. And it's not far from an official disc golf that meets the official winter requirements ( about 14 km from Airijärventie 108, now an 18-hole track in the woods and cliffs).
