The house is located in the center of Tekerőpatak, 100 meters from the cathedral church, 5 km from the town of Gyergyószentmiklós. There are two apartments with separate entrances in the house, with an equipped kitchen and a comfortable bedroom. Both are freshly refurbished. We can provide a cot on request. Free parking in the courtyard can be arranged. There is a grocery store not far from the hostel, with plenty of stock, where local cheeses made according to Swiss recipes are sold. It is recommended to taste.

LAZAR Guesthouse

The Lazar guesthouse is a traditional Szekler Hungarian wooden house in 1941 in Siclod, a small Szekler Hungarian village established around 1241-1254. The house was used only a few occasions for living in it, so the house needed very little restoration work. Our guests can enjoy one of the last Transylvanian - Szekler Hungarian rural lifestyle, that truly gives a time-traveler feeling - but with the comfort of the 21st century. A holiday house overlooking the Suhard peak, located at a distance of 5-7 minutes on foot from the lake and from the restaurant area. There are trekking, climbing and via ferrata trails in the area. Cheile Bicazului is located approximately 2km from the cottage. The heating is done with the help of the wood fireplace.
