The apartment was very modern and clean. It is centered nearby the castle - note that the streets are pretty small in the center of the village, so it's better when you have a small car. Also, the road from Catania to Montalbano are very curvy and damaged at the end.

I highly recommend this Villa - it surpassed our expectations. The best aspect is Maurizio’s services and excellent communication. He helped organise transfers (even at very short notice), arranged pizza chefs at the villa, and reliably responded to all our requests promptly. Hospitality and care like a 5* hotel. I planned a trip for 4 days for a group of 14 girls in mid-May. As soon as we landed in Catania, we felt we were being personally looked after. Maurizio helped me pre-arrange minibus transfers and kept in regular contact to ensure all was well. Exploring the grounds of the villa was a highlight. We enjoyed fresh oranges from the trees and squeezed large lemons into our drinks. There’s an excellent outdoor gazebo area with concrete ground and tent-like roof surrounded by beautiful trees. The terraces provide beautiful views of the sea, sunset and islands. The kitchen is small but was sufficient to cook for 14 people, with large pots/pans. Bedrooms huge and spacious

Wir hatten eine schönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Die Aussicht und der Pool sind wirklich perfekt und laden ein zum entspannen.

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

Dario'nun evi şahane konumda, çok kullanışlı. Ama böyle merkezi bir evde kalıyorsanız gürültüyü göze almalısınız ve tabiki otopark için extra ücreti. Cefalu da kalacaksanız arabaya ihtiyaç da yok aslında. Ama biz başka yerlere de gitmeyi tercih ettiğimiz için araba da kiraladıl. Darion'nun dostluğu ve mütevaziliği çok hoşumuza gitti. We had a fantastic eight day stay in Mario’s wonderful villa. The location and views are incredible and we would highly recommend staying here. Mount Etna even erupted and put on a display (which was fabulous to witness) and Mario was hot on the phone telling us to get outside at 11pm to view the spectacle. A perfect venue with lots of space for our large party of eight adults and two children, the surrounding patios gave amazing panoramic views of the sea and countryside. We loved picking fresh oranges and cherries daily which was so relaxing and tasty! It’s a short 15 minute walk to the local town with a wonderful bakery and butchers plus supermarkets all accessable. We will definitely return to this wonderful villa when revisiting Sicily and I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you Mario .

Gwendalina's place was exactly as pictured and very centrally located right next to the cathedral and the fish market. The terrace was a great addition. Gwendalina was also super proactive with check-in and was very responsive. Definitely recommend!

Der Aufenthalt bei Lory war sehr schön, die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war schnell und unkompliziert. Die Wohnung, als auch die Lage sind wunderschön, man hat seine Ruhe und ist schnell mit dem Roller oder Bus in der Stadt und die Aussicht auf der Terrasse ist wie auf den Fotos! Wir haben von Lory gute Tipps für Restaurants, Rollervermietung und sehenswerte Orte auf der Insel bekommen. Alles in allem war es ein toller Urlaub und können die Wohnung nur weiterempfehlen!

Wunderschöne Unterkunft inmitten eines bewirtschafteten, üppig begrünten Grundstücks mit traumhaftem Blick in Richtung Ostküste. Alles war wie aufgrund der Bilder und Beschreibung erwartet, eher noch etwas hübscher. Sauberkeit top, Ruhe und Panorama fantastisch. Der Empfang super herzlich, Empfehlungen für Ausflüge sehr gut. Die Lage ist natürlich etwas abseits gelegen, per Auto durch schmale Gassen aber absolut OK zu erreichen. So etwas wie hier findet man halt nicht direkt im Ort. Insgesamt absolute Empfehlung!

We had a good time at Giuseppe and Antonellas place. Enjoyed the view from the rooftop. It is placed in a charming part of town, with bakery and reTearants close by, and the churchbells ringing!

Our expectations were exceeded. Paulo was so helpful and friendly. The pet dog Papoy even made our stay fun. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a memorable experience

Without question the best Airbnb property experience and owner communications I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. From long ago when I first booked followed by the month before the rental, Marco was responsive to the little things which made a good property great. Our family of three generations—68, 67, 43, 39, 4 were fully accommodated by Marco’s home. Our 4YO even learned to swim in the upper tier’s pool (1.4m deep w ladder). We had a wonderful meal prepared by Marco’s attorney sister Gaia our 4th night, and it exceeded even the great restaurants where we dined daily in Cefalù ( Pasta e Pasté, Lo Scoglio Ubriaco, Tinchité, and Oateria Bacchus in Sant’Ambrogio). Upon our arrival the kitchen was fully stocked with charcuterie, eggs, cheeses, olives, bread, beer, wine, and all manner of spices, seasonings, and butter. You’ll need to buy drinking water at Decó Supermercato but there was a lot in the villa to start. The driveway is steep so you’ll need to get used to it.

Die Unterkunft von Carlo war sehr ruhig mit einem wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer. Der CheckIn mit Carlos Mutter war sehr herzlich und trotz Sprachbarrieren (von beiden Seiten) unkompliziert. Alle Zimmer sind super sauber und die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Es gibt für das/ die Schlafzimmer leider kein AC, weshalb es bei wärmeren Temperaturen sehr warm werden kann. Die Terrasse teilt man sich mit Carlos Onkel Alfredo, der jedoch nur wenige Minuten am Tag draußen ist. Alfredo kann gut deutsch ist sehr sympathisch und immer für einen Schnack zu haben. Über Nacht war er nie da. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, jedoch wenig touristisch erschlossen, weshalb es empfehlenswert ist einen Mietwagen zu buchen und das ein oder andere Wort italienisch zu lernen.

We can not say enough good things about Marta’s place! First, the location with the view of the water is perfection. We had several meals enjoying the balcony seating. The space offers everything you may need and the location of Deco grocery around the corner is a bonus. This location is walkable to the train station and Silvio picked us up there upon our arrival which was so thoughtful. We used beach chairs and an umbrella that other guests had left for the beach! The washing machine came in handy to refresh our travel clothes. We could go on and on about how much we enjoyed our stay and next time we visit, we will gladly stay here again! Thanks for the hospitality!

Le logement était parfaitement conforme à nos attentes. Le jardin était magnifique (citrons, oranges, basilic..). La piscine est l’élément central de la maison. Elle permet de se relaxer au calme. Cela est parfait pour se reposer après une longue route. Le logement dispose de tout le nécessaire. Le panier d’accueil était inattendu et au delà de nos attentes. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil. Le village à côté dispose de deux supermarchés. Possibilité de promener son chien aux alentours.

This beautiful home truly is a little paradise nestled into the quiet Sicilian countryside. Martina and her family are very generous and welcoming and we were able to cook dinner using vegetables from the garden on several occasions. The pool is very refreshing and there are lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun amongst the lemon trees and olive grove. The home itself has everything you need, including a very comfy bed and the outdoor covered area was ideal for enjoying meals in the natural surroundings. This is the perfect air BnB for dog lovers, and we loved spending time with the amazing Duchessa and her puppy! We hope to return soon :)

Wunderschöne Unterkunft in den Bergen von Campofelice di Roccella. Ruhige Lage, sehr privat und liebevoll eingerichtet. In der Casa della Ceramica hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Sehr entspanntes Anwesen direkt am Etna - etwas rustikaler aber mit sehr viel Charme. Wir waren mit Baby hier und haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und die ruhige Berglage genossen. Vor Ort gab es alles, was wir brauchten und auch die Küche war gut ausgestattet. Ende Mai war es dort auf 700m Höhe noch etwas frisch, weshalb wir den Pool nicht wirklich nutzen konnten. Ich denke am besten kommt man hier im Sommer hin, wenn es an der Küste schon zu heiß ist und man vor der Hitze fliehen will. Wir konnten den großen Außenbereich aber trotzdem sehr geniessen. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich und die Anfahrt von der Küste ist stellenweise steil, kurvig und zieht sich ziemlich hin - da hat man nicht sehr oft Bock drauf.. Wir haben auch deshalb nur jeden zweiten Tag Ausflüge gemacht und ansonsten viel am Haus entspannt. Andrea war sehr nett und hilfsbereit und obwohl er selbst in den Urlaub gefahren ist, sehr gut zu erreichen.

Beautiful and comfortable! The pool and views put this over the top perfect. Many steps, but the walkway is lovely. There is a short uphill distance to walk to town center. Our group ranged in age from 60-72, all moderately fit, and we did ok. We had some difficulty finding the place when we first got there , but we are not experienced travelers and made a few mistakes in directions. Sabina was easily accessible and very helpful in guiding us. Helga was wonderful in her communications and had many recommendations. Her driver service for our Mt Etna excursion and return trip to the airport was professional, friendly, and easy to contact. We very highly recommend!

Einfach eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft – das Schloss ist wirklich etwas ganz Besonderes! Man fühlt sich sofort wie in einer anderen Zeit. Die vielen liebevoll gestalteten Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten und der Pool sind ein absoluter Traum – perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Lage ist unschlagbar: mitten im Leben, mit einer tollen Bar, einem ausgezeichneten Bäcker und einem fantastischen Restaurant direkt gegenüber. Bei 2 netten Jungs gleich neben der Kirche haben wir die beste Pizza unseres Lebens gegessen! Kleine Hinweise für Selbstversorger: Es gibt keine voll ausgestattete Küche, kein Spülbecken und keine Geschirrtücher – aber bei dem kulinarischen Angebot in der Umgebung vermisst man das kaum. Wer eine besondere Unterkunft inmitten einer lebendigen Stadt sucht und die Nähe zum Ätna wird hier absolut glücklich! Absolut empfehlenswert

Wauw, wat een plek! Terre di Bea is werkelijk een supermooie locatie met een fantastisch uitzicht vanaf de verschillende terrassen rondom het huis en bij het zwembad. De plung pool was perfect om even heerlijk af te koelen na een wandeling, en de buitenkeuken maakte het extra leuk om samen de lekkerste ontbijtjes, lunches en diners te bereiden. Wij zijn een gezin van 5 (met kinderen van 4, 7 en 9 jaar) en hebben ons hier enorm vermaakt. Luie ochtendjes aan het zwembad wisselden we af met actieve uitstapjes naar Cefalù en de omgeving – met fijne strandjes, gezellige restaurantjes en sfeervolle middeleeuwse straatjes om doorheen te slenteren. Ons verblijf bij Terre di Bea was echt het hoogtepunt van de vakantie. Dankjewel Antonio voor alles!

We had a wonderful week in Patti - Lara’s home was the perfect base to explore the island from. Lara and Martina were extremely helpful, providing lots of recommendations for places to eat and visit. The pool is gorgeous, and there are balconies all around the house so you can chase the sun (or shade) throughout the day. We really can’t recommend this place enough.

Absolutely stunning! Loved every part of our stay here. Amazing location which is close to great places to visit but far enough away from the crowds. Lovely for a chillout and sightseeing. Fantastic welcome from Gabriella and Alfio, we really didn't want the holiday to end. We recommend the trek up Mt. Etna with Alfio, although be warned it is not for the faint hearted. It was more difficult than expected but well worth it as the views are spectacular and Alfio is a fantastic guide. Grazie mille to both Gabriella and Alfio for getting it completely right in everything they do.
