My husband and I spent 4 nights at this B&B and it was absolutely incredible. The hosts were very responsive if we needed anything and gave clear instructions. They also stopped by on our last day to make sure everything was okay and brought us breakfast given it was an extremely snowy evening the night before. The B&B was exactly as it was in the pictures and was a really comfortable experience. The plus was that you could see Mt. Fuji right from the front porch on a clear day. The bus stop is right in front of the B&B so we didn’t have to drag our luggage too far. The neighbourhood was very peaceful with some great restaurants and konbinis located within a 15-20 minute walk from it. Would definitely love to go back and stay there again.

There are 2 toilets, 1 bathroom, the place is clean but the floor is very thin and the sound of our group walking upstairs will be heard clearly downstairs. And the road is narrow and we can drive an SUV, but be careful and drive slowly.The driver said the road was a bit hard to drive and was scared of scratching the body. Fuji with a clear view!The room and living room saw the big Fuji, and it was a good stay.

A beautiful house with a stunning view of Fuji-san. 10 mins walk to Oshino Hakkai. As long as you’re okay with using a public onsen for washing, this place is great

I really enjoyed my stay here. The space is simple but perfect for one person. Very nice neighbourhood with a decent sized supermarket directly opposite the apartment and a very large one just a 5 min walk away. Two train stations within 2-10 mins walking distance. Keep in mind it takes around an hour to reach most places in central Tokyo, but it's quite easy. The kitchenette is small but had the required items to cook some simple meals. I'm a remote worker - wifi was good, but lack of proper desk was a little challenging, just a coffee table with floor seat which is not very comfortable for long periods. but not an issue if you will be out most of the time. the bed just had a futon mattress but I stacked the second mattress from the pull out bed underneath to make it a little softer. host was very responsive and communicative, he even waited up until after midnight to check me in as I made my way from the airport which is much appreciated. overall a comfortable and good value stay!

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful kawaguchiko apartment. Place was exactly as described and in prestige condition. Close to all Mt. Fuji hot spots and a feel safe neighborhood. Definitely would stay again and recommend to family and friends.

Mitsuo was a great host for us - always responsive and helpful to any inquiries. The clear check in and check out instructions are also appreciated. The accommodation is clean and convenient to public transit, groceries and convenience stores. Thank you Mitsuo for the good stay.

Chiyo was very helpful recommend some places and air bnb is very clean and comfortable to stay in.

Maple was a great host. The place was very comfortable. Very responsive host. The place is very close to stations and central. I will definitely stay here when I visit Tokyo again

Very nice accommodation next to the train station, the value for money is excellent, everything is available. There were 2 of us with a separate bedroom. There's even Netflix on the TV and a Konbini right next door for shopping. I would definitely recommend this place, which is very loyal to Japan.

The place was clean, comfortable, and had character. The host was extremely nice and helpful. The place was right by Ueno Park which looked beautiful! And it had many restaurant options about a 3 minute walk away! I would definitely recommend staying here. It was well worth the price and close to transit

Everything here was amazing. - The drive here from Tokyo was incredible scenic - The walkable distance from the location to amazing views of Fuji and restaurants - The hosts were also amazing at giving recommendations of nearby scenic places I can visit.

They were very accommodating, even though they made a last-minute reservation.The atmosphere was very good, and it was clean as pictured.The view from the window was also good, and we had a very relaxing time!

It was a great place to stay but really far from everything. We were also unable to reach a cab with taxi go or Uber. The only way we could get a ride was by calling a taxi service. It was also hard to explain the address to the taxi driver since we don’t speak Japanese. There was one time we did show the address of the Airbnb to the taxi driver and he took us far from it, we had to make a U-turn and guide him to the Airbnb. Other than that, it was a good, peaceful place.

Our family of 8 spent a very unforgettable day in this very Japanese and innovative house... we were deeply attracted to the house as soon as we entered... we arrived a little late... but the owner still received us very warmly... and reminded us to be careful on the way... because it snowed at Yamanakako that day... our family's first experience with snow was here... we were really mesmerized by the beautiful snowy scenery... although we couldn't see Mt. Fuji, we still got a veryBeautiful snowy scenery... all the internet-famous check-in spots near Lake Yamanakako are very close... but this time we didn't have the chance to see the beautiful Mt. Fuji... I hope to have the chance to come to this house again in the future... and then enjoy the different scenery of Mt. Fuji... I highly recommend everyone to stay in this cozy and comfortable homestay... there will be a next time only if there is regret...

My family and I had a great time at the cottage! It was very cozy and had everything we needed. Our young son had a great time playing in the snow and staying warm by the fire. We also got to see lovely views of Mt. Fuji on our drive to the cottage.

We used it with 5 families (9 adults and 8 children), but we had a very pleasant time with the many private rooms, spacious living room, outdoor barbecue equipment, and large kitchen.The parking lot was large and could accommodate a large number of cars, and it was nice for the children to be able to play there, including at the table in front of the entrance. Thank you for your flexibility in check-in and check-out times.

This is an amazing house to stay and it's worthwhile for family vacation. I spent two nights here with my family and we both enjoyed the house itself and the surroundings. The house is clean, warm and comfortable with the most beautiful view of Fuji mountain. Super convenient for the sunrise view. The host is very friendly and helpful! Hirano is kind of less convenient for food and drinks, but the host were willing to drive us to the restaurant which is quite far away. Hope I could go and stay again!

Even though we made a reservation from the afternoon of the day, they handled it comfortably.We felt the host's care and had a wonderful time.
