It was a great place to stay. As the name suggests, it has a very open window with a view of the forest, and I had a relaxing time looking out at the wonderful forest. I would definitely recommend it when you come to Oiwake.

Good experience and cozy place

Enjoyed our stay of 4 couples and kids. Many rooms, good layout for hanging out and good appliances, hot water and heater.

Great space for families or groups. Very peaceful setting and an easy walk to the Lake, bus stop, gondola.

It was a place to stay with a beautiful view like no other.We had a relaxing stay while looking at the river flowing in front of us.It was a nice place to stay with a barbecue, an open-air bath, a large screen projector, and a nice balcony.

Our stay in the house was great, the house was well equipped, garbage was collected when needed, there is a nice tatami room and the beds are comfortable. The area is beautiful, with the Teddy Bear museum (with a Ghibli floor) and the Nikko park nearby. Small remark, there are some automatic lights we were unable to turn off. But other than that everything was great! Recommend.

The place is as photo, inside is clean and full of facilities, we all enjoy the good time for dinner. But it would be better if the house do have heater inside (now only floor heating). The location is good , in the quiet area and not far from supermarket. Host also good communicated.

The place is great! The only thing is that you are not allowed to use the fireplace, which is understandable, but very unfortunate, as it was the main reason for choosing a house for me.

We stayed calmly in a very quiet place.It is also fully equipped with a pizza oven, BBQ set, and more.I would like to use it again if I have the opportunity.

There were insects because it was deep in the mountains, but it was a clean and comfortable place to stay!The fire pit was free and equipped with firewood and tongs.Also, you need to use a toll road to get to the accommodation, so I think it would be better to have cash with you!

Very clean and new. Nice location. We drove 5 mins to an excellent sunrise place. 5 people stayed super comfortably. There is 1 bathroom so more people might take longer time to finish showering. Very warm indoor.

I stayed with my girlfriend and we had a very nice time.Staying in nature was special enough, but I was happy that it was equipped with a BBQ grill, and that you could not only grill on the net, but also steam with the lid.The food we ate out was many times more delicious than what we usually make in the frying pan. The log house was very clean, and all the furniture and dishes were stylish and easy to use, and I was impressed by the attention to detail.I could feel that they had put a lot of thought into making my stay comfortable, and I was able to relax comfortably. There is also a trampoline and swing on the premises, and there are games that even adults can enjoy, and I was happy to be able to experience returning to my childhood in nature.I think we had a valuable time that we couldn't easily get in the city. There are also tourist spots such as a supermarket, "Michi-no-Eki Nasu Kogen Tomai-no-Mori", and "Minamigaoka Ranch" nearby, making it very convenient for shopping and going out.It was a lovely place to stay with both good location and convenience, and I definitely want to visit again.

This is an oasis in the mountains. We had the most wonderful stay and throughly enjoyed the cabin. It is extremely comfortable and has everything you need for a home stay. The host - Oksana - is extremely welcoming and responsive. Truly and wonderful experience Local area is full of places to explore including old onsens, shrines and great hiking destinations. We cannot wait to return and explore more
