Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Toledo District

Had an amazing time in Belize, thanks in no small part to Jacki. She helped book excursions, had incredible recommendations, and was so kind and welcoming. Probably the best Airbnb host I’ve seen. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We had an amazing time in Placencia at The White Turtle! The location is absolutely perfect! The caretakers Reuben, Rufina and their son Gilbert made our trip so special! Rufina kept the house absolutely spotless and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed. Reuben set up our tours and we had the most amazing time snorkeling, fishing and visiting waterfalls. Reuben knows his stuff! I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.

What an absolutely amazing experience. We were not sure what to expect when we arrived because it looked a bit disheveled, but soon we found out they were replacing the thatched roof on the communal palapa. What a cool thing to watch. Those guys are artists up in the structure with giant palm fronds. In just one day the place was back to beautiful shape. Our cabana was so cozy and comfortable with everything we needed. The outdoor shower is very cool and not an experience either of us had had before. Haven't slept so well in a long time. Marisa and Thomas are wonderful hardworking people and very attentive. We cannot say enough about them and their beautiful resort. Thank you for making us feel at home. We will be back!

We loved our stay and will ONLY stay here whenever we visit Placencia. The apartment seems newly renovated. Everything is in pristine condition. The water gets really hot. The balcony is large. You can reach the beach and restaurants in under 2 minutes walking. You can reach the grocery store and bank in about 7 minutes walking. The host went out of his way to ensure my daughter and I had everything we needed. Days after checking out, we saw the host outside while we were searching for a location and the host saw us, checked on us, and went out of his way to help us. Not only is he a great host, he's a great person!

This is handsdown the best place I have ever stayed in in my life! Our experience here we will treasure forever. Not only is it stunning and so intimate especially in the evenings when the day guest have left, the staff are the kindest people and very attentive. We had the absolute pleasure of meeting and spending time with King Lewey and Queen Kathy and they also made sure our experience was truly unforgettable. This tiny and beautiful island has so many fun activities to do and the food and drinks are 10 out of 10. I couldn't recommend staying here more if I tried!

I stayed over the weekend just after christmas with myself, husband and our dog. The cabin has the basics you need for cooking, a nice new gas oven/stove and a small fridge/freezer. Newly renovated bathroom and the bed was super comfortable. I loved the sheets. Only (2) pillows are provided so may want to request a few more but we had our own as were travelling in a van. There is A/C and a large fan that had no problem cooling the place during the hot and humid days. Pamela (host) was so awesome and communicative when we needed a last minute place to stay for a few days while we worked on our van. The casita is a small studio so keep that in mind but was perfect for the 3 of us. The outdoor space is incredible. Swim right out front and lots of shade on the porch or under rhe awesome big tree. There are a few seating options and a table as well. A grill would be an awesome addition here. Our dog loved the yard and access to swimming, super safe and quiet. Absolutely would stay again!
