This is the only place in Japan!An inn where you can rent out a nationally designated important cultural property.Limited to one group per day, so the owner (landlord) will serve as a dedicated concierge for the guests (staying guests). The Kimura family has two buildings that are important cultural assets. Meals are served in the main house, which was built in 1699. Guests will be able to stay in an old but new building (designated an important cultural property) that will be renovated by 2026. There are four confirmed accommodations in Japan that use nationally designated important cultural properties, including our home.Of those, this is the only accommodation where you can rent the entire building. However, that's why you can experience a nostalgic time from the past that can only be had here.For guests staying for multiple days, such as 2 nights/3 days, the host can also take them to sightseeing spots for a day.I can only speak Japanese, but I know how to converse with guests from any country using a translation tool.I know how to use words that are easy to translate. In the schoolyard that was closed, we built 3 cottages for guests and a Goemon bath, and we also prepared one vacant classroom as a tent room, making it a limited group accommodation for up to 18 people.Use it for close families or small training camps. Meals are not included for room-only stays.Please bring your own towels and other amenities.Shampoo is only available in the Goemon bath. You can use the base price + number of people, so please be sure to apply for the exact number of people. The symbolic wooden school building is now too old to enter, but there is a large enough site, so feel free to use the gymnasium and BBQ building. There are many reviews saying the location is inconvenient (lol).It is an abandoned school in the mountains of the countryside.Thank you for your understanding. Please bring your own charcoal, paper containers for BBQ, paper cups, etc.Firewood is available. It is in the mountains and there are no supermarkets, so please prepare food and drinks in advance when you visit. It is open from 11 am to 3 pm. There is an internet TV and a Super Famicom on the 2nd floor. There is a kitchen on the 3rd floor, and you can buy ingredients at the nearby market and have them cooked. It is located between Tokushima Station and the downtown area, so it can be used for various purposes.
