Spacious hand-carved log cabin by a clear-water lake. A sandy-based good beach that's wonderfully deepening and safe for children. We have a private pier. The cottage has electric heating and a fireplace. Firewood is included in the rental. Outdoor toilet is composting. There's a rowing boat and fishing gear. You can pick berries and mushrooms in the nearby forests. Great nature travel destinations like national parks are a short drive away. Distance from Helsinki, Turku or Tampere about 100 km.

A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

Everything you need near the shopping center Veska, Citymarket and Prisma 24/7, Lidl, Sale. Tampere city center approx. 6 km, airport approx. 11 km, Exhibition and Sports Centre walking in the backyard, Nokia Arena 4.5 km. Lovely Härmälänranta approx. 1km. Note! Welcome to Rauhala cottage. Hide in the middle of nature and enjoy the birdsong and grounding energies. You have a nice house with one room and a kitchen as well as a hall and a toilet. Outside there is a separate sauna building and huussi. The living room has a double bed and a sofa bed. If necessary, a fifth person can be accommodated on the floor. The kitchen has a coffee maker, a refrigerator and a mini stove and mini oven. There is a gas grill outside. Dish washing is done by hand.

The outbuilding has a wood sauna with a shower room, there is no separate bathroom. The sauna chamber has 2 beds for 1 person. Running hot water and drains. Heating with air source heat pumps + a furnace in the winter. Refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, and mini stove with oven. Pets are welcome.

Overall a straight 4,8/5 stars! I really liked it there, especially that it was exceptionally clean. The kitchen was quite well equipped and you really could tell how much affection went into decoratig the apartment. Only thing I wasn't too happy with was how loud the two clocks were ticking, at different seconds as well. You could also hear some pipes working in the house, but once you decide not to worry about this, I totally recommend staying! :)

A lovely little cozy cottage that was beautifully renovated and decorated. Everything you needed was in the cabin, beautiful dishes, towels, linens, etc. The place was really beautiful, with stunning cliffs and beautiful forest. Can't wait to see what this place looks like in the summer. The steam in the traditional wood-burning sauna was great. The hostess was very friendly and very reachable if needed. Special mention for the four adorable chickens who were adventuring in the yard. We'll be back here, thanks!

Small pretty cottage

The cottage is at a beautiful, peaceful location and we really enjoyed our overnight stay here. The cottage has everything you need! We went rowing, swimming, used the sauna many times and used the firepit to cook dinner. We were so glad the lake didn't have blue algae so we were able to go swimming. We bumped into Liisa briefly too and she was so lovely. Thank you! Kiitos!
