The building was build in 1885 and was completely renovated in 2017. Since the building is made of masonry, it is cool in summers and warm in winters. Because of the convenient location to the A9 and A72, excursion destinations are easily accessible. Ideal starting point for destinations in northeastern Bavaria, southeastern Thuringia and impressions at the former German border. We also welcome guests in transit, hikers and cyclists. We love to welcome you in our former spacious forester's house. We are a Dutch family with 3 children who bought the house in 2006 as a family vacation home. With a lot of love and attention we think we have created a unique spot in the quiet forests of the Czech Republic. If you love nature you will feel completely at home. Walking, cycling, mountain biking, you are in the middle of it! In the summer you can enjoy the silence on the veranda and in the winter the cosines by the fireplace.

The Stöckelkeller is the former inn in the village of Unternschreez near Bayreuth. By car, the university is 10 minutes away, the city center is 15 minutes away and the Festspielhaus is 20 minutes away. You will stay on 29 square meters (13 square meters of living & cooking; 11 square meters of sleeping; 5 square meters of bathroom) in modern, friendly rooms. We have equipped the apartment the way we like it when we travel. The house is right next to the small Margrave's Palace Schreez.

The base capacity is 8 people in 4 bedrooms, for additional 2 guests we provide extra beds. Facilities include sauna, ski-room with a hot-air boot dryer and roofed parking space on the property. Privacy is guaranteed by a large fenced garden. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and local ski slopes. Garden Finnish sauna is for an additional fee.

Muckenreuth is located on the edge of the Fichtel Mountains and Franconian Switzerland, as well as at the gateway to the Upper Palatinate and is ideal for hiking, biking, skiing and relaxing. Welcome to our family-run holiday home, Luxury Chalet Lore, in the officially recognized resort of Fuchsmühl in the Fichtel Mountains (Bavaria).
