Cosy cottage with amazing views of the Galtees

My place is a five minute drive to Kilshane House Hotel for wedding guests. Beautiful walks nearby my Cottage here. I'm less than a one hour drive from Cork, Kilkenny, Dungarvan and Waterford and 40 minutes from Limerick so central. The beautiful Glen of Aherlow is nearby with great walks, cycle trails and horse riding. You’ll love my place because of the stove, the comfy bed, the kitchen, the cosiness, the high ceilings and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and families

Kick back in this calm, stylish space available for short or longer term stays (up to 6 weeks). Welcome to "Maisie's Cottage", renovated in 2022, where you and your guests can relax and rejuvenate. Located in the countryside close to Bansha village (near Kilshane House) and minutes from some of Ireland's best hiking, the cottage is a little over an hour from Shannon or Cork airports, and two from Dublin. The perfect retreat for small families, friend trips, those home to visit or relocating.

Please do come here - If you're interested in growing your own food, keeping bees, hiking, food preservation, nature, chickens & geese, bats, birdsong & silence (hens/geese/wildlife permitting!). From artist studio to guest house, this little building is an ongoing project, with so much to offer. Sitting on higher grounds just behind the main house, it has its own garden with a view to take your breath away. It’s a bit of a rise to get there but totally worth it. If you keep climbing across small fields and a strip of forest, you’ll find yourself on Slievenamon’s mountain trails. Downhill from here lies Kilcash village, pub, church, more forestry and the ruins of an old castle

We are conveniently located, only 3 km's from Junction 26 on the M7 motorway. The self catering apartment is located over the garage and separate from the main house with its own private entrance and is accessed by stairs. There are lots of activities to enjoy in the area, hiking, kayaking and various other water sports. There are many excellent golf courses close by.
