"Bearly Affordable", located along the Allegheny River nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. The cottage offers private river frontage for canoeing, kayaking, swimming, and fishing. Cottage sleeps 6 and has most of the amenities of home including air conditioning, forced air heat, wood stove, well and septic. Additional staying quarters located in an adjacent cedar Cub House which has 4 beds, 2 lofts, and air conditioning. Cub House Closed for Season. Opens back up April 1st.

The cabin is located on 650 acres of privately owned forest accessing the Clarion River and the North Country Hiking Trail, minutes from downtown, Clarion. This is a secluded cabin in the woods on 10 acres. Hunting is available on additional land as well. Close to the Allegheny River and lots of hiking on the Allegheny National Forest. Enjoy watching the wildlife out the front bay window as well as hiking and exploring the backyard woods. Outdoor fire pit is available with firewood provided. This is a cozy place to get away and relax. Wi-Fi now available through Starlink! Drinking water is provided due to the sulphur smell in the water.

This cabin is a great place for a family getaway in the Allegheny National Forest. It is easy to access on the main road, but still gives you the feel of the forest. It sits and overlooks the Allegheny River channel, in the summer you can watch fire flies on the island behind the cabin while you listen to the toads and bullfrogs sing. The river channel provides many opportunities to see wildlife such as ducks, eagles, deer, beavers, river otters, turtles and much more.
