Vacation rentals in Tinúm Municipality

The apartment is in a lovely little village really close to the Chichen Itza site (17minutes by car). We stayed one night, everything was like in the pictures and we appreciated a lot the hammock in the living room!

Beautiful house and plunge pool, if anything better than the photos. The house felt really loved and personal. Lots of local artwork on display and made the most of the jungle surroundings - the jungle courtyard view from the toilet and bath in the master bedroom was a pleasant surprise! Walking distance to Chichén Itzá and several restaurants. Lots of cenotes locally to visit, with helpful recommendations of the best ones from the host.

We loved our stay. 2 very minor issues (missing scissors and knives in need of sharpening) were very quickly sorted out. Lovely rooms, good kitchen, quiet location in the jungle, friendly village. It’s exactly what we were looking for. The only surprise was, and I’m not sure whether we missed it in the photos, is that the cottage is not its own property but part of several accommodations with shared outside space ie not private. In practice this was not an issue at all as there was no one outside and we felt quite private and secluded. Thank you very much Marisa and Luis for hosting us.

I was only one day and the casita was very nice, thank you very much, setting 10/10.

This is a charming little hotel. Mr. Israel and his wife have been working hard to update all the fixtures and finishes, so everything feels fresh and very clean. They were wonderful hosts, very friendly and responsive and offering amenities that weren't listed, like a clothesline to dry out wet things after a day at the cenotes, and coffee/toast for breakfast when we just asked for some hot water. Lots of great local recommendations, we will definitely stay here next time we're visiting Piste!

This is a really fabulous AirBNB in a very touristy part of Mexico, just 2.5km from the entrance to Chichen-Itza. Where many other accommodation providers in this town are clearly price-gouging based on their proximity to the famous ruins, Mauricio's place is fairly priced for the comfort and facilities it offers. The bed is very comfortable, thanks partly to a soft "topper" under the good quality sheets. The whole room was spotlessly clean. Towels even had a slight and pleasant fragrance. The hot water was strong and consistent, and the wifi worked well. The air conditioning was quiet, and the room itself was surprisingly quiet overnight considering the proximity to the main road. Supermarket is a few minutes walk away, and right on the street are simple cafes and restaurants, convenience stores and fruit shops with everything you might need. We would definitely seek to stay at Mauricio's place again, if we find ourselves in Piste in the future.
