We spent a full week at La Rungia with Sandro and Lisa. The stay was wonderful and met our utmost expectations. The cottage is furnished with love and you immediately feel at home. The furnishings are well equipped and nothing is missing and the cleanliness leaves nothing to be desired. A highlight is of course the hot tub ,which is available for private use. The bus stop can only be reached in a few meters and you are in Lugano in a short time and can do a lot from there. I want to mention the communication with Sandro and Lisa, just great. We will be happy to come back soon.

The apartment corresponds exactly to the description: it is new, very clean and equipped with every comfort. In addition, it has mosquito nets on the windows and a convenient parking space. The only slightly annoying aspect is the bell tower on the other side of the lake, which plays a serenade at midnight on Christmas and starts the first chimes at 7:30 am on New Year's Eve. For the rest, the location is quiet and charming, with a splendid view of the water facing the Italian side. The area is ideal for pleasant walks and, during the summer, it must be really enchanting. Communication with Urs was excellent and pleasant. We had the pleasure of meeting him in person when he offered us a change of towels mid-stay, a really nice touch.

Sunlight reflects off the tranquil surface of the lake, framed by lush green foliage. Two lounge chairs sit on the shore, overlooking the water and distant hills under a partially cloudy sky.

Mirko is an extraordinary host & very caring and responsive. Throughout the whole stay he was very available and gave amazing recommendations for everything (food, hikes, drinks, etc). In addition he was very flexible regarding check-in and check-out. We would definitely recommend to stay at Mirko‘s place!

It’s a wonderful place in Locarno. Easy to get transportation because this place is near station. The best thing about this reservation was Alessandro himself, a wonderful person. The great host i ever had. Very helpful very friendly he helped us a lot. The boat was in a good location a wonderful view. We got all accessories what we needed. I would like to stay there again if I visit Locarno.

Rustic style house but perfectly equipped. Large terrace and beautiful balcony with magnificent lake views. Quiet but easy to access for a side of the mountain, convenient garage. Shopping in Locarno or Italy (cheaper...). Remote host but very responsive and friendly. Nice terrace/view restaurant 5mn away (Osteria Vairano). Perfect base camp to visit the whole area, obviously beautiful.
