1pm is blast time! It's not always easy to spot and sometimes a dissapointment, but to view the Super Pit in it's entirety is definitely an experience. View at night before the gates close at 7pm. This is the whole reason you came to Kal right?!

The Fimiston Open Pit, colloquially known as the Super Pit, was Australia's largest open cut gold mine until 2016 when it was surpassed by the Newmont Boddington gold mine also in Western Australia.

This is a MUST. Come and see the biggest open pit mine in Australia and the 6th biggest in the world. Watch the massive dump trucks do their thing.
