Established in 1920 when an Englishman - Mr. Blessington found a way to convert a tennis court into an ice skating rink in winter season, Shimla Ice Skating Rink, at that time, was the first ice skating rink to be established in India and one of its kind in South Asia. The club is associated with Portland ice skating club of USA and is the place to be in the winter season.
