We have two spacious, comfortable studio units tucked privately away in a garden setting on our 1400sqm property close to Whitianga's upgraded town centre, marina, supermarkets and The Warehouse. Beach, estuary, cafés, bars and eateries are also handy - everything is approximately within a 10-15 minute walk. You can sit outside undercover and enjoy an al fresco breakfast. There is a pool table and darts for you to waste time on. All good fun. We love friendly Thames with its unique shops and cafes and hope that you will enjoy it too. Thames is ideally situated for exploring the Coromandel and the northern Waikato.

Our AirBnB is a separate, self-contained wing of our beautiful new home in Totara, 3kms south of Thames Township and gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula. We are about an hour’s drive from Auckland International Airport and close to the many and varied attractions of the Coromandel and the Waikato Region. Easy access to the Hauraki Rail Trail. From our elevated position there are uninterrupted views over the township, Firth of Thames and the Kauaeranga Valley.

Studio with a View

Our Studio room opens onto a paved terrace with views over the ocean. The studio is well equipped with kitchenette, table & chairs, armchairs, separate shower & bathroom, separate toilet. There is a barbecue for cooking and an outside covered space. We supply a simple breakfast of muesli, yoghurt and milk. If you are dairy free and require something different please let me know. The pool and spa overlook the ocean and have amazing views.

Cozy on Cook

Awesome Lost Spring hot pools only 100m away. Take an easy short walk to beach, ferry and town centre. Hire electric bikes, go across the ferry and ride to Cooks beach and even Hahei. Hire kayaks and take a scenic row in the Estuary and waterways. Newly renovated, separate entrance to studio apartment. Own bathroom on suite. Studio attached to main house. Own small private deck with cooking facilities, with electric fry pan and BBQ.

Twin Palms self contained accommodation

Self contained stand alone accommodation in quiet street, parking right outside the unit. Close to estuary, an easy 15 minute flat walk to main street. Open plan living measuring 7m x 5.3m with queen sized bed. Living area, spacious bathroom, towels and soap provided. Kitchenette has sink, microwave, toaster, toasted sandwhich maker, fridge, jug, bistro style table and chairs. Coffee, tea, milk, and sugar supplied.
