Quality would be a perfect one word description of this accommodation and the hosts. Everything in the house is great quality and there is everything you need. David met us and showed us everything we needed and made us feel very relaxed about bringing our dog with. All the facilities are first class and you just feel at home as soon as you arrive. Will definitely look to stay here next time we visit Whitianga as not only is it amazing it’s a great place to base yourself to explore the rest of the Coramandel peninsula.

Very nice well-kept accommodation on a water canal. Nice location, quiet. Suitable for longer stays to explore the Coromandel beaches. Great swimming pool and hot tub. It is necessary car. Whitianga is a place with very good infrastructure and lots of restaurants. We really enjoyed the 3 weeks!

Vicky’s place was great! Perfect for the 4 of us, located right near the Whangamata high street and a great view over the town and of the hills in the distance. The lounge was comfortable to relax in, the balcony got a lot of sun and the flat had all the amenities you could want. The instructions for finding the building, getting in and where to park, etc. were very clear and Vicky was incredibly helpful and responsive to messages. Would definitely stay again

We had a lovely stay at Quail Cottage. Ange and Deane were incredibly kind and hospitable, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The cottage itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully presented, with thoughtful touches throughout that really added to the experience. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and small gestures—like the Easter eggs—made it feel extra special. After a long detour due to a road closure, we arrived with a very muddy car, and Deane kindly gave it a wash, which we were so grateful for. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts or a more peaceful place to stay. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Lynley’s place was absolutely incredible. The entire space was absolutely spotless and well stocked for a comfortable stay. We were able to make ourselves comfortable while on our travels with the beautiful outdoor space, spacious kitchen and living spaces. Sitting in the backyard you feel at peace in a beautifully decorated and private space. There are also great amenities, clean and functional kitchen and bathroom. There is plenty to go and see in the area and a great local town in Thames for shopping and food so it is a great central location for your travels. The hosts were super friendly and made sure our stay was perfect. We cannot recommend Lynley’s place enough, it is a beautiful place which you will find yourself wanting to visit again!

It's hard to put into words how beautiful this location is... breathtaking doesn't do it justice. From check in to check out everything was smooth and friendly. The views are stunning. Short drive to Coromandel village and all the hikes. Bed is crazy comfortable. Explore the property, orchard, garden... it's amazing. Host was so polite they tried to take the blame for rain! Washer/dryer is a game changer after a day of beach and hiking. I arrived a 3/10 on my personal battery and left 10/10. Thank you, if I'm welcome I will be back!

27 Banks Road Cooks Beach is a lovely 3 bedroom cottage right on the most amazing beach. The house is clad throughout in beautiful polished pine wood. New bed linen and towels which were of high quality were really appreciated and made for a very comfortable 2 nights. We had a couple of issues when we arrived, but Sarah responded instantly and resolved everything perfectly. If you are looking for somewhere to stay whilst visiting the Coromandel Peninsula, which is a must if you are touring the North Island, we can definitely recommend this property

We had a wonderful time staying at the villa! The place was stunning, very close to the town centre and restaurants and was exactly what we were looking for. Jacqui was very easy to communicate with too. Would absolutely stay again!

Very friendly welcome by Jeff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as the rental comes with a free pass to the Waterworks park too and there is a café on site as well for lunch time food/cakes. We loved the BBQ and private space. The house includes a great kitchen and comfortable beds. It's about 10 min drive from Coromandel centre so perfect for walking round the shops and cafés and also 5 mins from the Waiau falls and Kauri grove - well worth a walk into the forrest there.

We had a fabulous stay for the Beach Hop. The location is perfect for a super close walk to town and the views from the house are just beautiful with the beach just across the lawn. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We had a hiccough with no loo paper to start with but that got sorted. Please note there is just one loo upstairs.

We loved our staying at Faye’s place in Whangamata. It was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the location is amazing - just a tiny walk to the amazing beach with beautiful sea views from the living room and balcony. Faye was so friendly with her communication and was extremely understanding when we interrupted her Friday evening by accidentally locking ourselves out 🫣 (thanks again!!). I would high recommend a stay here and would love to visit again. All the best Faye.
