From the yard you can get to the forest, where there are paths and in winter sled tracks. The house has a kitchen, wood-fired sauna, washing machine, dryer, TV, air heat pump, Wi-Fi and a view of the Simojoki river. Ready for bedding, towels, and detergents. Toys and games for the kids! Stay in the tranquility of the countryside in a cozy cottage with river views. The cottage is small, in good condition and has everything you need. Electric sauna, shower, toilet, stove, dishes, fridge and cooking utensils There is a path to the beach and a rowboat in use. The beach is stone-based and has no jetty, so you must be able to swim if you want to take a dip in the river. The property has just been fitted with an air heat pump that keeps the apartment comfortably cool and brings pleasant warmth in winter.

Charming log cabin on the shores of the Kemijoki River

Relax by the beautiful Kemijoki River in a log cabin built in 1811. Renovated with modern amenities in 2021. In the yard, there is a new sauna/toilet and a grill shed, as well as a terrace. Another sauna, which can be rented separately during the summer, is right on the beach. There is a hot tub and a gazebo with an 8-burner grill next to the sauna. A rowboat is available for residents. Linens and towels are included in the price. The taps have spring water. In the silence of the countryside, the soul rests!

This small, traditional, Lappish log cabin is located right at lake Norvajärvi , only some steps to the water (or ice in winter). Enjoy the lake view and forest around you, immerse to the nature and its sounds and smells, marvel the northern lights and cosy up by the open fire. Cabin has electricity but no running water. We bring drinking water in containers and washing water to sauna is taken from the sweet water lake. We are 20km from Rovaniemi city, apprx 30min drive -with no street lights.

No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. There is no jacuzzi/hot tub or sauna available in this accommodation I am afraid.
