Beautiful view of the river valley andthe town of Kingwood West Virginia. Large kitchen with pots and pans. You have your own entry with open floor plan. Main house is above. There are lot’s of windows to view the picturesque valley. With vintage decor and a gas fireplace which makes for romantic setting. From sunrise to sunset the view is incredibly beautiful. 45 min from WVU 2 miles from Camp Dawson Black water falls 40 minutes. Wi-Fi available

Great and peaceful location with wonderful 2nd floor porch. We had beautiful hikes at Swallow Falls State Park, and the Rock Maze in Garrett State Forest--both a short drive into MD. If we had stayed longer, we would have tried the put-put golf and kayak rental. My only suggestion is that if you plan to cook much bring bigger knives and a big cutting board. For our visit we only found two paring knives and one tiny cutting board. It wasn't a big deal, just made cooking a big more of challenge. All else in kitchen was worked fine. Tony, the host, was very responsive and helpful.

Staying here was an absolutely peaceful and relaxing experience. From the minute we arrived we felt more than at home, it was perfectly clean and felt very cozy. The extra touches of complimentary cinnamon swirl bread, popcorn and much more made for a very relaxing experience. It was great to spend some much needed time away hiking in some of the local parks. The Lucky Duck is a very calm and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the views and the local population of ducks and geese who welcomed us as we came and went. The place was spotless & spacious and had all the little things we needed for a great visit. Would highly recommend booking.

Franks place was very nice and spacious with very inviting front and back porch. We were able to store our bikes and they didn’t get rained on. Strong pressure with shower, we didn’t take a bath. Kitchen appliances all worked well. 3 bedroom and nice room for a child. All bedrooms are upstairs with another step up and down for bedrooms in between so something to think of if you have mobility issues. 3 mile gravel road, with 1/4 driveway so a good 4 wheel drive is very helpful. Private and very country and hear the birds sing.

A lodge-style building with a distinctive triangular roof is illuminated by the setting sun. A gravel path leads up to the entry, with a deer grazing nearby. Surrounding greenery adds to the natural setting of the resort.

We had a great long weekend here. Great place for families and the cabin was great for our 2 little kids. They loved the bunk beds and all the outdoor activities. Kayla and Carmen are very helpful and responsive to any and all of my messages to them. Would definitely come back again!
