Great terraces with view of the sea. Not a lot of restaurants to walk to. Place was very clean and furnished well. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to make several dinners there with no problem. We went during shoulder season so the area was very quiet. I’m sure it’s busier during the summer.

Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Gastgeber! Bartolo hat uns von der Fähre abgeholt und zur Unterkunft gebracht. Auf dem Weg (wenige Gehminuten) hat er uns die Stadt gezeigt, alle wichtigen Informationen gegeben und einen Stadtplan zur Verfügung gestellt! Sehr sehr angenehmer Empfang. Das Zimmer war auch toll, super Lage!

Nous avons passé 3 merveilleux jours dans le logement de la guest house avec le rooftop. Tout y était : la vue, la situation avec la mer, mais surtout le chaleureux accueil que nous avons reçu. De notre arrivée jusqu’à notre soirée de départ au restaurant, nous nous sommes senti chez nous. Mille mercis !

Fantastic stay in the heart of Cefalù! The location couldn’t be better — just 30 seconds from the beach (bed rental was €30 for the day) and surrounded by great restaurants and local charm. The apartment was exactly as described, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. Be aware there’s a steep flight of stairs to reach the apartment, but the view from the balcony more than makes up for it. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to soak up the best of Cefalù!

We had the absolute pleasure to stay at Caterinas house to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary with 4 other adults. I chose this listing because the pictures looked like such a romantic house. Arriving to the island of Sicily was breathtaking, and let me tell you, once we arrived to the house, I was speechless. Caterina was there to greet us with such a warm hug. Entering the house stopped me in my tracks. The house exudes romance and actually brought me to tears. It has the perfect quintessential Sicilian decor and charm. The view from the terrace will mesmerize you. It faces West so you will have some of the most spectacular sunsets with views of Sferracavallo in the peripheral. All 6 of us found the mattresses extremely comfortable. The house is fully stocked with everything you might need for a perfect vacation. Caterina is an amazing host. She loves her house and it shows. We will be back! If you want perfection, make her house yours while visiting Sicily.

Per chi vuole stare lontano dal caos e godersi qualche giorno di relax, è il posto ideale. La casa è carina e ha una terrazza a livello con una vista sul mare spettacolare. Albe e tramonti faranno diventare fotografi chiunque. Solo questo vale la spesa. I dintorni offrono la possibilità di fare escursioni e visite in posti meravigliosi e anche di mangiare bene vista la grande disponibilità di locali. Con Carlo nessun problema, è sempre pronto nelle risposte. È collaborato dalla mamma, gentilissima, che ci ha ben accolti e ci ha dato alcune dritte sui luoghi. Inoltre ci ha fatto trovare marmellata e olive fatte da lei e le uova delle sue galline. Insomma, meglio non poteva andare.

Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr, sehr herzlich empfangen und standen jederzeit für Rückfragen zur Verfügung. Die wunderbare Aussicht auf die "Straße von Messina" ist ein Highlight. Die geräumige und sehr saubere Wohnung hat alles, was man sich wünschen kann. Wir waren bei unserem Aufenthalt über 6 Tage vollkommen zufrieden. Gerne wieder!

Carlo was a super friendly host. We felt welcome in the truest sense of the word. We were greeted by him personally with a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a homemade cake! Carlo was very concerned about our well-being and gave us lots of great tips and recommendations for the region. The house with the large garden in a very quiet location offers a great view of Mount Etna and at the same time you can hear the sound of the sea. The house is very tastefully furnished, very clean and comfortable. As soon as it got dark, we enjoyed the view of Mount Etna from the fireplace. We would love to come back at any time and can highly recommend this accommodation.

This was one of the nicest AirBnB's we have stayed in. It's on a narrow street with very limited parking, but fortunately we always found a spot. Town is about a mile walk away, and there is not parking in town...so you must walk to restaurants. There are some very good restaurants in town; some of the best food we had in all of Italy. We don't mind walking, but one evening we were tired from the day and got a taxi back...it was 20 Euros for the very short ride...a bit of a rip off! The property was very much as described except a hot tub is listed as an amenity, but it wasn't heated when were there. The host, Maria, is very responsive and helpful.

We had an amazing time at Giovanni‘s apartment was big and beautiful and the pool was amazing. And for an extra fee he picked us up from the airport and dropped us back afterwards. Beautiful clean apartment and large balcony. Great functional kitchen and large bedrooms. Easy walk into town there’s lots of bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. Will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Emanuele's beautiful villa. we arrived late to take away pizza, snacks, drinks and a home made cake!! from Emanuele....such a kind and caring gesture. The villa is spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen has all equipment you would need to BBQ or cook. There is a big, new BBQ on the terrace. There are lots of shaded areas to sit and read. The villa is a 5 minute walk to the beach that is sandy and has a great beach bar, a good restaurant ('That's Amore' ) and also the train that takes you to Cefalu and Palermo. We were very sad to leave this villa, it was a fantastic holiday and Emanuele was the perfect host. Gracie Emanuele

Marco war ein fantastischer Gastgeber. Er hat uns mit sämtlichen Hilfestellungen souverän durch die doch recht knifflige Einfahrt gelotst (die Wohnung befindet sich in einer sehr verwinkelten, übrigens nicht barrierefreien Anlage, die wiederum in einer Art „gadet Community“ mit vielen anderen Ferienanlagen und Ferienhäusern steht, welche nur durch eine Schranke und Tore passierbar ist. Wir hatten unglaubliches Glück und waren fast die einzigen Gäste in der Anlage. Den tollen und sehr sauberen Pool hatten wir also fast für uns alleine. Generell war alles sehr ruhig und friedlich und wir fast alleine. Die Aussicht von Marcos Terrasse ist ein Traum. Ganz ganz fantastische Aussicht auf das Meer und den Ätna. Je nach Tageszeit etwas Sonne, etwas Schatten. Einfach überragend. Die Anlage/Wohnung aus den 60er Jahren hat einen tollen Charme, wenn auch etwas in die Jahre gekommen;) Zugänge zum Meer haben wir leider vergeblich gesucht. Viele Wege waren versperrt oder zugewachsen. Danke, Marco!🫶

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und vom Balkon aus hat man einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und hat alles was man braucht. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

I loved my stay, it's as the pictures show. The terrace is massive, with great views of the sea and Stromboli. And the whole place feels spacious. It is in a peaceful area, right next to the beaches (crystal blue waters and black sand). I recommend checking out the cave Grotta d'Eolo. The place is in good spot to go on a sunset hike up Stromboli. I was there at the end of May so there weren't as many nearby restaurants open but the open ones were all within walking distance. I had a great stay and would come and stay here again when I return to Stromboli.

Wir haben eine sehr schöne und entspannte Woche mit unserer kleinen Tochter in der Wohnung verbracht. Wir waren die einzigen Gäste, also war es sehr ruhig und wir hatten tatsächlich einen privaten Strand. Der Garten und die Aussicht ist wunderschön. Die Wohnung sieht aus, wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Bei An- und Abreise haben wir uns ein E-Taxi gegönnt, sonst erreicht man alles gut zu Fuß. Das Hausmeisterpaar ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, wenn man etwas braucht. Carlo war immer gut zu erreichen.

Wir durften 6 traumhafte Tage in der Suite am Meer verbringen. Ein Ort der unsere Herzen ab dem ersten Moment mit Glück und Liebe gesättigt haben. Wunderschöner Ort mit einer unglaublichen Gastgeberin. Laura und Alfred haben uns jeden Wunsch von der Lippe abgelesen und unseren Aufenthalt so unvergesslich gemacht. Gerne möchte ich dabei betonen, dass sie beide, sehr professionell sind. Privatsphäre wird bei ihnen sehr hoch geschrieben. Dazu kommt dieser Wille, einem den perfekten Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Die Suite ist ein Ort der Schönheit und der Liebe. Von Anfang bis Ende eine sehr zu empfehlende Unterkunft. Die Aussicht auf das Meer hat meinen Augen und meinem Herz sehr gut getan. Danke ❤️

A fantastic apartment for a family. Extremely quiet and amazing location, steps from the sea. Rooftop deck has views of both the sunrise and sunset! Very clean, comfy beds, and modern. We would definitely stay here again. The host helped us with everything, and provided wonderful restaurant recommendations.

We had a wonderful stay in Mazzaro at Rocco's property! Shortly after we booked a few months ago Rocco informed us that unfortunately the owners of this property needed it during our dates but he kindly offered his other property only a 2 minute walk away instead. For reference the property and listing is called (Luxury apartment and charm sea view Isola Bella). It was absolutely wonderful with the best view of the Baia di Sant'Andrea, just opposite Isola Bella. Less than 5 minute walk to both beaches and cable car up to Taormina. The property consists of both a downstairs and upstairs unit. Both were clean and the washroom downstairs newly renovated. My only small criticism is that Rocco uses an AI chatbot to help communicate with guests, so you will always get a response from "him" quickly, but the information might not be totally accurate. He would however always correct 'himself' within 24 hours. Would stay here again in a heartbeat, it is so beautiful!

Need a car to stay here, easy to miss the entry road, but once you’ve got it it was all good, the apartment was very clean well stocked with facilities, no wifi, aldo left me some nice gifts for arrival coffee, water, wine !!!! Thank goodness, if you arrive on Sunday afternoon, pick up your food on route the shops locally are closed when you are tired and hungry aldo sent me details of shops that was great. He’s an excellent host and communicator, the views !! Oh my lord, they are truly magnificent! I want to live there! The sofa beds take some adjusting to, but ok, quiet area and neighbours perfect tranquil place, shops short drive away, and you are central Sicily to explore days out. Fresh Italian coffee on the balcony in morning Lovely just lovely. Good hot water/ shower washing machine, lots of cooking /serving utensils and crockery, cleaning equipment. Aldo was always helpful and kind which I appreciated as a lone female traveller, nothing is too much trouble. Loved it ! 🥰

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame und schöne Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Lage ist eher abgeschieden, sehr ruhig und erholsam. Wahnsinns Aussicht und das Meer ist sehr nah, was ein echter Luxus ist! Die Einrichtung und Ausstattung ist eher simpel gehalten. Da der Fußweg ( Auto nicht möglich) zum Haus sehr steil ist, kümmern sich die Gastgeber*innen um den Transport des Gepäcks und der Lebensmittel zu Beginn des Aufenthalts. Es bietet sich daher an, den Großeinkauf direkt zu Beginn zu machen. Das hat super geklappt. Der Weg in die Stadt ist gut zu Fuß machbar, wenn auch ein längeres Stück, aber schön. Der Bus hält in der Nähe. Er fährt eher selten, aber in unserer Erfahrung zuverlässig und pünktlich. So kamen wir super ohne Auto auf der Insel zurecht. Die Gastgeberin war sehr schnell erreichbar, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.
