The cabin is newly renovated from 2023 and has everything to do for a break from everyday life. Great outdoor areas, and glazed outdoor area. Guests are free to use the two canoes and sup boards that are in the cabin. There is running water for shower, toilet and dishwasher. Water for drinking and cooking has to be brought.

In Mellerud there are also good train connections between Gothenburg and Karlstad.
