Garden Studio with ocean views

Kate and Johnny were perfect hosts. Let us be but always instantly available. They have lots of knowledge of the area. Very friendly and welcoming. We appreciated fresh bread, fruit and spreads for breakfast. Quiet and picturesque setting from our deck and in the spa looking down over the beach. Walkable distance into town albeit a steep but manageable path. Bed was super comfy. We weren’t doing activities in CBD but driving around all areas east. Thank you both. We will recommend.

Discover "The Sandbar Nook" in South New Brighton

KaterinaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
I have been to a few tiny houses and this one was the best so far. Beautifully done, well organized, private and cosy. We felt right at home. The little cabana and the garden is sweet extra. Nearby Dune cafe and the beach are must visit. I’d definitely book again.

Five Acre Farm - The Cabin

BeruRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Brie's place is seriously a gem. Waking up opening the door overlooking the balcony to the backyard farm was quite spectacular for a city guy. Everything is clean and perfect. The design of the interior makes it feel like home. I find that just by looking both outside and inside the house, brings a certain calm and peace. This is the where the value lies. It's also just the right distance to go to town (by car). And the apples in front, is really sweet and fragrant, almost like a perfume. We took one and ate it, it was amazing. I wish I knew it sooner so that it can be our breakfast (if allowed by Brie, ofc). To put it simply, it's the best blend of nature and modern. Seamless transition between inside and outside. This is one of the best place I've ever stayed on.

Gem of a Kiwi Bach!

KristiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This place is the definition of a classic Kiwi bach — no frills, but absolutely unbeatable when it comes to the view. Waking up to the sunrise over Taylor’s Mistake was next level. The walking track literally starts at the back door, and it’s just a short drive to Sumner with great cafes and a beautiful beach. We’d read a lot of reviews about the access being tricky and not to bring big bags, but honestly, it was totally fine — I think I was expecting something way more intense, so it felt easy! The directions and photos were spot-on, and even though we arrived at 9:30pm in the dark, we found it with no issues… then woke up to that stunning view. Magic. Laura was also a fantastic host — we booked super last minute (just a few hours before arriving!) and she got in touch straight away to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re after luxury, this isn’t it — but if you want a real-deal, relaxed Kiwi getaway with a view that seriously delivers, you’ve found the spot.
A modern living area features large glass windows offering sweeping views of the estuary and ocean. A light-colored sofa and armchair are arranged around a wooden coffee table, with a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. Natural light fills the space, highlighting the stylish decor.

Heavenly Hillside Haven

MalRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The place is beautiful. Set up high with outstanding views of the coast. There is a bit walk to get up to it but it is well worth it. The place is modern and clean and spacious. Very peaceful and homely. We will definitely go back and use again and I would highly recommend Andy's place if you need somewhere to stay in the area.
A kitchen window is open to reveal a sweeping coastal view, showcasing the ocean and distant hills. The window frames a serene scene, with gentle waves visible below and a few scattered rocks along the shore.

The Ultimate Cecil Wood Stay - Hot Tub, BBQ & View

SeanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house, location and view made for a wonderful birthday get away. The house was the perfect blend of urban and natural, blending a perfect balance of modern with cohesive aspects of the environment tied into the houses design. The carefully selected art work and plants made the space stand out from many other places we’ve booked in the city. Waking up to an abundance of natural light, bird sound and no traffic made our stay tranquil and peaceful. Would most definitely book a get away here again.
