Another Perfect Stay – Highly Recommend! This was my second time staying at this Airbnb, and it was just as amazing as the first. Everything was spotless, well thought out, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts clearly take pride in the details, and it really shows. Definitely best place to stay for few nights at Auckland. The whole townhouse is an exactly clean and tidy space.

An expansive view of the ocean is presented, showcasing rolling waves and rocky formations along the shore. The coastline is framed by lush greenery, with distant hills visible under a partly cloudy sky. The serene blue tones of the sea and sky create a tranquil atmosphere.

The Blue House - Piha Retreat

This luxurious mountain-top eerie offering spectacular views over Auckland's iconic Piha Beach was the setting for a recent 'Big Chill'-style Easter reunion with old friends. The gorgeous open-plan kitchen, dining and living room provided the focus for the group to reminsice about our youthful exploits at Piha over wine, fine food and chocolate easter eggs. There is sleeping available for eight, though there were only six of us. The house has all the mod-cons, including a beautiful stereo system, featuring creamy-sounding Linn speakers. We spent hours reading and chilling in beautiful designer chairs, or looking out at the panoramic view of Lion Rock. One suggestion is the deck is crying out for built-in barbecue, though I imagine council regulations might prevent that. Also, Piha is (STILL, after 40 years) woefully under-serviced by shops, so make sure you load up on everything (including wine and beer) in Auckland beforehand. A truly memorable weekend.

Lovely unit/apartment with everything needed. Very tidy and the location was great, amongst residential homes and was very quiet. We were attending a wedding in Kumeu so the location as ideal.
