Vacation rentals with lake access in Te Anau

This is a charming chalet style property with a lovely view. Grant is a really accommodating host. It's really clean and comfortable and a powerful shower. The location is really peaceful and it is a great place to chill out. Ideally located for the Doubtful Sound cruises and 20 mins from Te Anau. On the road to Te Anau you can pick up the Kepler Track (it's signposted off the main road), a lovely forest walk with a suspension bridge. We also rated Redcliff for food in Te Anau

We spent three nights at Anna's small house in Manapouri. It was perfectly set up for a couple, comfortable and with amazing views. Getting to ride a bicycle for the first time in years on the Lake 2 Lake trail was fun. It's an easy 20 minute drive to Te Anau with plenty of restaurant options and took us a little over 2 hours to Milford Sound. Beautiful and relaxing spot.

Wonderful stay at Anna’s cottage. Well appointed and comfortable for our family to stay in the area. Everyone could have their own space which was lovely, kitchen well equipped and great shower. Anna was very proactive to make sure we’d have everything we needed. Big thank you!

We spent 3 nights here and would have been very happy to have stayed longer. This was our most favourite AirBnB of our 15 nights touring the South Island. Beautifully furnished, modern kitchen and bathrooms, comfiest beds and so much room. House stayed warm with minimal use of the heat pump. Location was great, Lake at the end of the street and an easy 20 minute walk into town. Very appreciative of the laundry facilities provided, which included a dryer. We thought Te Anau itself was such a pretty town and I think having such wonderful accommodation made us fall in love with the place. Thank you for having us!

Great place to stay, handy to the lake and lake walks and pet friendly so was ideal for our dog. Nice clean unit with all amenities necessary for a nice relaxing stay.

We really enjoyed stay at Susan's place. House is neat and clean and provided with all the facilities. It is nearer to the Milford sound route. She kept a delicious home made jam inside fridge , it was funny . We had a great stay . We would love to stay again ..

The cottage was the perfect spot for our short visit to Te Anua. It was very clean and free of clutter, well kept and maintained, and had good modern amenities. We were especially thankful for the towel heater and washer/dryer combo for the cold, wet days. The cottage is located only a short walk to the Main Street and lake. Adam provided us with lots of helpful information regarding the accommodation and area before our stay. I’d definitely recommend this cottage for your visit to Te Anua.

My partner and I loved staying here! Super peaceful and quiet, comfy bed, convenient laundry, and a relaxing bathtub. Peter and Yanli’s place is what Airbnb was meant to be. Couldn’t have asked for anything more! Would love to stay again if we’re ever back in Te Anau.

Kathryn's place was easy to find, and the room was cosy with an electric blanket. She was also really nice, accompdating to our check in and out times. It was nice to hear her stories and have conversations over ice cream. Place was wxactly as described and we highly recommend this place to all :)

Great place to stay. We had stayed at Brian’s place and traveled to Milford sound. Close to the town centre. Very close to the lake and great views to wake up to.
