House vacation rentals in Tavira

I stayed with two friends and as soon as we arrived we felt at home and relaxed. We had everything needed and there were nice extras such as water bottles in the fridge, local biscuits and coffee pods for the machine. The weather wasn’t great when we were there so did drive to the center but it wasn’t far and in nicer weather we would have walked. There was a large hyper market near by with everything we needed. The house was large and spacious but felt cosy and friendly. We really enjoyed our time there. Thank you.

Villa Mariana is a gem of a place, with the most fabulous and genuine owners that made our stay so welcome and enjoyable. We chatted to them, and enjoyed the stories of years gone by in the real Portugal. We also found out that Jose, Pedro's father, was a very talented artist with drawings and painting going back decades. The big highlight of our stay was the wonderful swimming pool, which we had exclusive use of. Sun loungers and a Gazebo to sit around the pool and have a cold beer or wine were very welcome too. We found that getting from Faro airport to Villa Mariana, was a small challenge, as Uber didn't recognise the address that we got from Pedro. So we took a Taxi to the Lidl supermarket at Sao Bras, where Pedro then picked us up in his car. This worked very well, but if Pedro is not there you will need to have a clear address, and take a taxi. Also, trying to get an Uber from Villa Mariana is impossible, so stick to genuine Taxis that are very good value. We had a great time !!

Lovely and peaceful stay and a perfect location to explore the amazing area in and around Tavira, a truly underrated part of the Algarve. The house is perfect for a small family. Very chilled, off the beaten path. Great stay and super easy!

We (two people) had booked Maria's house for a week. The house has everything you need: on the ground floor was the kitchen and a small storeroom with a washing machine. Also on the ground floor was the living and dining area, a toilet and access to the terrace. On the first floor were two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. On the top floor there was another bedroom with a bathroom and access to the roof terrace. Outside there was a large pool with plenty of seating and sunbathing areas, a parasol and a barbecue. Each room had air conditioning (to cool or heat the rooms). The House is about a 30 minute drive from Faro. There is a supermarket in the next village. The area is quiet and idyllic. You have a lot of privacy in the House.

The house was superb for a group of friends to spend the week. Excellent rooms. Bathrooms are large. Kitchen was spacious and had everything we needed. It was super comfortable to hang around in and just be with friends. The area was quiet but close enough to Tavira and other towns. while we were there the hot water quit, I notified the owner and within 2 hours it was fixed. This is first class.

lovely Airbnb for family and friends. easy to drive to local beaches and towns. host was very responsive and kind. kids loved the pool and nice there were toys and inflatables to use.

The villa had everything we wanted - with separate decking areas for different parts of the day depending on if you want sun or shade. All the hosts, Alex, Mildred and Emay were lovely and so helpful. We arrived very late after a long time at Faro airport (now that is a nightmare) and our sat nav initially taking us in the wrong direction, but we rang Alex who guided us in and didn’t fuss that we were late. The pool was great - we had an early August holiday so the dip was what we all needed every day (and night, it was beautiful for a midnight swim looking at the stars). We met both dogs who were very nice, and Lou, the big one, was super cute - my girls loved him! We often ate at home and the gas job and electric cooker was perfect for this. The air con was just what we needed too - so happy to have that to cool down. Didn’t use the TV as it was so lovely sitting outside enjoying the peaceful surroundings and sounds of the cicadas. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay.

We were guests here as a whole family and celebrated Christmas together. Our kids loved hiking through the orange and avocado plantation, eating fresh oranges from the tree and horseback riding was a great experience. Great house for children and large family with grandparents. Well-maintained and clean. Frederico got us everything we needed. We'll be back!

We loved our short stay at Casa Boa Vista. The weather was great for February, so we even got to use the pool. The beautiful views definitely do justice to the name of the house! Communication with Gabriele and the managers went smoothly. Very friendly and always available. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home Gabriele. Nuno and Ana are wonderfully friendly and helpful hosts. The house is equipped with all ( and even more) comforts; really everything you need is present. We enjoyed the house, the garden and the location!!!

Our booking was extremely last minute after we had been unable to stay in our family home. Quinta Dos Sorrisos was a home from home. Aida and Berry are amazing hosts, chilled yet responsive and perfectly accommodating. The accommodation is boutique chic. A rustic feel yet with a polished finish. All the little touches show the love and impeccable taste that has been poured into its creation. It’s minimalist for a relaxing feel, you can really declutter your brain. The facilities, for example to charge your phone, are discreetly at hand. Quinta Dos Sorrisos ticks all the boxes for an eco-holiday the solar panels are a no brainer. The local produce of oranges and figs, come without any airmiles. The area itself is my favourite part of the Algarve, Maragota, Moncarapacho e Fuseta. The Guardian rates it as number one for 2023 travel and being multi local and lucky enough to call this one of my homes I agree. Quinta Dos encapsulates the magic of this very special area.

Bela Vista is a truly magical place in one of the most beautiful regions our group has ever visited. Working with Sara, we organized a gathering of 14 adults and 7 kids, with people reuniting from all over the world to share 8 days together. It could not have been more extraordinary. The property is spectacular, the proximity to beaches and towns is amazing, and Sara, her mom Margarida and their community is incredible. So generous and thoughtful in every way. We hope to come back many times to come!

The house of José e Cátia is very cozy and still has 2 wonderful terraces!! Communication with José was excellent. He received us with great joy. We were close to everything, the festival, the beach, the restaurants, the groceries… I loved spending these days at Fuseta and playing at the festival. Thank you!! And I hope come back to your home at Fuseta!

Our family (my husband, two daughters, and I) had the most wonderful time at this beautiful countryside Airbnb! The property is set in a peaceful, scenic location, surrounded by nature and endless charm. We enjoyed sitting in the garden just listening to nature. One of the highlights for us was being able to pick fresh oranges right from the trees — making our own juice each morning was such a special experience that our girls will never forget. We loved walking/running the paths nearby. Our host was available if we needed anything and gave us good recommendations for restaurants and activites. This was one of the most relaxing and memorable family trips we’ve had.

We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the tranquility of the accommodation very much. The view in the garden and on the terrace are very nice. The beach is fantastic and the kids had a lot of fun in the Bimmelbahn to the sea. The park is very well maintained and offers many leisure activities, the staff are very friendly. We recommend this place.

We were greeted by a woman who showed us how to use the TV remotes, pointed out features around the unit, gave us keys and answered questions. The place is located conveniently for using public transportation. Easy walk to the bus and train stations. Full grocery store and the mercado are within easy walking distance and a small convenience store is even closer. Bedroom was comfortable with plenty of linens, living room had a selection of books with throw pillows/blankets for rainy days. The bathroom was clean and larger than expected. We used the kitchen appliances regularly - everything was clean and worked properly. There is a rack for drying clothes on the rooftop terrace. It was very quiet at night. We enjoyed a snack and glass of wine on the rooftop terrace a few times and sipped morning coffee on the lower level patio. It was a pleasant stay and we are happy to recommend this airbnb.

La Maison Citron is a beautiful house to stay in the lovely village of Santa Luzia. Quirky!Nicely decorated! Walking distance to everything. Kitchen is very well equipped. We've had a great communication between us, Valérie was very responsive. Didn't get to meet her but met Armenia who was very helpful too. Totally recommend a stay there. Merci Valérie & Armenia!🤩

An incredibly beautiful, tastefully designed and superbly equipped house. Quality very high quality, very bright and modern, without unnecessary items and with everything you need. Perfect location with good restaurants in the immediate vicinity in an authentic, enchanting little fishing village right on the sea. Patricia was friendly, available at all times, always responded promptly and very accommodating the moment we had to change our travel plans. We highly recommend Casa Clara, will definitely be back and would like to sincerely thank Patricia for letting us be her guests!
