Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tavira

Orlando and his wife Armanda are super hosts. They are very friendly and communicative. Their place is very peaceful and lovely. They have allowed us to pick up fresh oranges and eggs . We have loved our stay in their place. We just wish the weather was more warmer so we could use a pool more ☀️

We had a great time at Patrick and Telma's place who warmly welcomed and advised us. The setting is peaceful and beautiful. Ideal for families with children and people looking for the serenity of the holidays. The accommodation is very well equipped and we did not lack anything! We'll be happy to go back!

Ana is a wonderful host, she met us at the property and showed us around, she have us lots of helpful hints and tips about the locality. I had a couple of questions during our stay and she responded within minutes, offering to come over if required. The house was spacious and very clean. Everything you could want was provided which was excellent because we didn't have to go out immediately to buy anything. Coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, a wide range of spices, olive oil, etc etc. There was body wash in the bathrooms and towels were provided for the hot tub too. The location is perfect, so close to town and to plenty of shops bars cafes and restaurants. This was definitely a 10 out of 10 experience and we would happily return. Thanks Ana, much appreciated

Very happy with my stay. Apartment was perfect for my needs. No complaints at all. Location was perfect for what I needed.

We had a great time. The place is peaceful, very safe for our 3 and 6 year old children, who spent their time observing animals and playing with the available facilities, really allowing us to rest. Our host was not only very welcoming, but also extremely caring, always there to give advice and let us taste the products from her garden. The place is on average a 10-20 minute drive to beautiful beaches. Not only do we recommend this place, but we might even come back...

A wonderful week in Luz. The nearby towns of Olhão and Tavira were easily reached by car or train. The apartment was beautifully clean and well stocked, with a very relaxing hot tub. Agostinho is a great host.

I spent a week with my family at Tania's home and it was great. It has a lot of indoor and outdoor space and is ideal for children. The area is quiet, all rooms have AC and everything worked, no surprises. Thank you!

This is a remarkable residence if you value space, peace and comfort in a beautiful aesthetic. The best of all was the large terrace that has the benefit of sunrise and sunset. Pack your bags, you'll love it and Tavira is always a treat yo visit. Just dont tell anyone else!!

Nice appartement in a quite neighborhood. The appartement has all that you need and we enjoyed ourselves. Paul is a friendly host and communications went well.

We had the best stay at Raquel's place in Pedras D'el Rei. The complex the apartment is on is ideal, with a lovely pool and shop and restaurant all on site. The staff at the complex are so helpful! The apartment is clean, bright and really tastefully decorated. The river and beach are stunning and so conveniently located - we felt very "in" the surrounding nature. It was also really easy to get around using uber, from the airport and to local spots like Tavira, if you are just staying for a short while and don't have a car! Raquel was the perfect host, very contactable and helpful. We loved it here and can't wait to be back.

Beautiful traditional Portuguese house. Well located in Cabana. A great village. It's big so some areas should have a face wash. Some quite antique furniture. and a shared garden. The worst were the pillows, very soft and barely stuffed. We were all prevented from getting a good rest.

This place was amazing and Carmen was there to help us during the entire stay. Amazing heated pool and the beer machine was of great help.

Teresa's place is a very cozy apartment in the heart of a holiday home complex. It is clean and tastefully decorated, you really feel right at home. Teresa was quick to respond to any questions. The apartment really has everything you could need. From the more than adequately equipped kitchen, to helpful beach accessories to games and sand toys....It's clean and we got fresh towels and linens at half-time even for 14 days stay! The holiday complex is very well maintained, large but still familiar and equipped with everything you need. Pool, restaurants, small supermarket, laundromat... and a reception that can be reached 24/7. The best part of the place is the beautiful swimming beach! There are restaurants, toilets and rentable loungers as well as areas for free loungers. It is reached on foot or with an old stroll! (free). The train was a highlight for our 2 year old and us every day

Our 7-day stay at Rui and Sofia’s lovely holiday home was a wonderful experience. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring our stay was seamless. Overall, an unforgettable retreat—perfect for those seeking a family friendly escape with easy access to both relaxation and adventure.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay! We couldn't believe how beautiful this place is. House, garden, pool, the view over the mountains and the quiteness where absolut fantastic. 25 minutes by car to Faro beach just by to the airport. We would definitely come back. Our little kids loved the place as well.

Our second stay here, the host is very communicative and accommodating, the house is in a wonderful location close to one of the most beautiful beaches with everything you need for a lovely stay. We can’t wait to visit again.

I enjoyed the entire two week stay. Very comfortable, open, light, relaxing, private place. As a walker it was a wonderful location. Easy to get food, to walk into the center of Tavira, to explore the salt pans & Ria Formosa, the beach, etc. Hosts very kind & welcoming. Always responsive. I’d love to return.

We loved our stay, the Villa was well laid out, very clean and had everything we needed. Joao was an excellent host communicating throughout our stay and provided excellent recommendations. Everything was easy to find and the towns nearby provided everything we needed within a ten minute drive. I would highly recommend this place for a restful stay.

We had a lovely stay overall despite a very particular context (general power outage) for a good part of the day and evening. This impacted our stay because now in most homes everything is electric... Of course the host could not have anticipated this extremely rare issue, but we felt very alone and without information. The next day they came to the news and did what was necessary to ensure that the appropriate measures were put in place.

Mildred and Alex's house, and the surrounding grounds, is a true slice of paradise. It's a house that's been very well designed and is made to live in. Everything is spotless and better than the pictures. In the spring, the view of the flowers, hills and starry sky is very soothing. The house is close to everything. Meeting Mildred and Alex was a real pleasure. Their daughter Emay, also friendly and efficient, responds to requests and transmits information very quickly. Not to mention the dogs Lilly and Louis who are adorable. To date, this is one of our best Airbnb experiences! We hope to come back again again soon.

A beautiful, adventurous route leads you to this charming cottage in the Portuguese mountains, where you will be directly surrounded by tranquility and nature. The cottage itself is cozy, clean and equipped with every comfort, even if you like to cook yourself. There are a number of eco rules that are fine to do. The owner, Benoit, is incredibly friendly. The house runs on a private water source. This requires very conscious water use. Tip for tall people, the shower is quite small. The pool is lovely! There are a lot of big red ants crawling around outside. We thought it was fascinating to see them. They look a little scary but they don't do anything. In the evening it's magically quiet here, and the starry sky is nothing short of spectacular. A great place to relax and unwind. We highly recommend a stay here! Thank you for the good time!

A beautiful villa with a huge pool surrounded by beautiful countryside. The kids loved exploring & the hosts were very responsive with a few issues which arose. We would love to return!

We arrived back from Sarah’s place this week, I would highly recommend, the flat is stunning, lovely area, Sarah herself met us on arrival and greeted us with some local wine, Sarah went above and beyond to make us feel at home, she even paid a parking ticket which we weren’t aware we had parked in a permit zone.
