Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Taunton Deane

We, 5 adults and 4 teenagers, spent a very enjoyable Easter here. The directions in the comprehensive welcome message were good and the house was clean and ready for us. The nice warm indoor pool, the hot tub and the pool table were great and were heavily used. Kitchen is well equipped – we fed well! The weather was unfortunately not quite ready for the outdoor gas BBQ area. The beach is within easy reach, as is the Smugglers where we spent an evening eating and drinking. The host responded quickly to a question, which was great. All together great. Bottom line – we would happily go there again.

We had a wonderful stay in the lodges while visiting family in the area. Andrea was incredibly helpful from first communication and just the loveliest, most accomodating host. The lodges are idyllic and situated in lovely surroundings with nice walks. We will not hesitate to book again.

We have just had a fantastic holiday at the eco lodge. It is clean, well equipped and comfortable, a great space for two families of four. Fun to have a piano. The garden is beautiful, so much birdsong and we loved relaxing outside and enjoying the pond. The hot tub was such a treat. The kids loved playing in the drive on the scooters and tandem bike. Ian is a kind and truly welcoming host, he was flexible when we had to change a date and gave us some good local info. He definitely bakes the best scones in Devon! We would love to visit again, a very special place.

A great house with character, everything we needed, and surely the best garden in Bristol. Richard and Jessica were lovely, welcoming and accommodating hosts. Thanks for letting us take over your home for a couple of days!

Six of us spent Easter weekend here, and honestly I can’t fault it. The views from the veranda are breathtaking and the hot tub is such a lovely treat. Had all the amenities listed, and great spaces inside and outside the house to relax. The house is 5-10 mins walk to glastonbury town centre while feeling super peaceful. Highly recommend!

A delightful overnight stay with my daughters and niece. A lovely home in which we chilled and relaxed after a busy day out and about. We loved the house had a real ‘feel’ about it, lots of personal touches, their home felt like ours for a night. Also loved the ‘environmental / sustainable’ cleaning products/loo rolls etc Very convenient for our needs and we hope to come back again. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Thank you Annika

we had a lovely few days away in a lovely space with beautiful weather. The house offered space for 2 families and our dog was in his element outside. Mark was extremely helpful and friendly but respectful of space. boys loved the canoeing!

David and Pamela were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 1 night and all went as well as the description stated. Thank you for your hospitality and would recommend staying at their apartment. Easy parking and close to town and amenities.

Had a great stay while here and was a perfect location

We had a great stay here. A lovely place and peaceful setting. There were clear instructions for everything making our stay stress free. Great location for visiting Dartmoor national park. We also visited Blackpool sands beach which was amazing. The 1.30hr drive was worth it for us although there are closer beaches. Nice sitting at the meadow and having our morning coffee with the chickens who paid us a visit. Thank you Ilona for a great couple of days away

Beautiful accommodation, very tastefully furnished and comfortable. Village location was great with walks and pubs in easy reach. Only downside for us was nowhere really to let the dogs out of the door, had to walk them to the meadow.

Just had another great stay with Alison. The apartment was spotless as always. It is well equipped and Alison is such a great host. She is friendly and helpful. What more could you ask.

We had a lovely break away, the accommodation had everything we wanted and as described. It was easy and quick to walk into Bath centre while being in a very quiet street. Would recommend.

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

We have just stayed at The Wales Retreat for the 2nd time (the first time being 3 years ago). This place truly is a retreat. The location is fabulous, a lovely quiet site and sitting on the comfortable chairs on the decking, all you can hear is the sound of the waves and the sea. All the different options for seating, means that there is a seat suitable for everyone. The garden is secure for dogs and there is an area for fire pits and BBQ. The Wales Retreat is true to the photos. It's spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. It is a home from home and has all the facilities you need to make it a fabulous holiday. Emily keeps you informed of all the instructions you need to check in and a number is provided should you need it if you have any issues. There is a pub onsite which serves food in the evening and also has a children's play area. The walk down to the beach is not an easy one, but it is worth it. This is a five star accommodation and we look forward to staying again.

Absolutely beautiful stay at the cabin this Easter weekend. It was so peaceful and had everything we needed. We really appreciated the local eggs for our breakfast and all the little easter touches! Carole popped in to say hi after we had arrived and to check we had everything we needed. We spent some time in the spring sun sat next to the fire and admiring the view. On the Sunday we made the most of the many local walks and ended at the local pub - an epic carvery! The cabin had many ways to keep us cosy if we needed it - including a wood fire, cosy blankets on the sofa and an electric blanket on the bed. We will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a short stay away from home. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the dark skies and view of the stars from the hot tub ❤️ Thank you very much x

Myself and my partner really enjoyed our stay and were really impressed with the grounds , everything was clean and beautiful . All the little touches were excellent and appreciated so much , there were a beautiful bouquet of roses , items in the cupboard and fridge which were a nice touch as there’s always something we forget ! , We were given the opportunity to use the pool table and darts board on our last evening as the lodge was empty that night , which I thought was a lovely touch , and also gave me the opportunity to beat my other half at a game of pool. The hot tub was a great feature ! And the communication from the hosts was excellent and very informative and although we didn’t have any problems , I knew if there was , they’d be on it . We will definitely be back again . Thank you .

what a lovely stay! Great communication throughout from Amy, making us feel very welcome. Hunters Barn was exactly as we thought it would be, in a lovely setting with friendly animals. And beautiful inside. Wish we could have stayed longer. Amy's little touches were a lovely surprise too, and the box of toys left out for our son to play with was another added bonus and very appreciated. Pleasure staying here.

Probably the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Everything we needed was here and the host was lovely and went absolutely went over and above. Had a great time, lot of days out, and the hideout was so lovely to come back to. Can’t recommend highly enough .
