Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tathra

Great villa for a small family getaway. Beautiful lookout over the wharf and the bay. Very easy to get to, clear communication from the Host, and not too far from the Main Street/amenities.

Host was great to deal with and was very responsive and helpful when we were upfront and honest. Great stay awesome location had a big group of people which had a ball all weekend in the facilities.

It’s a very nice property. Rooms are very clean. We had a great time. Highly recommend.

A lovely place to stay for a long weekend, or even longer. Close by to the main Merimbula beach, while only being a short walk to town. We didn't even end up driving anywhere once we got into Merimbula. Would gladly come back and stay here next time in the area.

Great location, fantastic water views, within walking distance of beach, lake , boardwalk and coffee shops. Excellent, hassle free accommodation for families to enjoy.

Phil was a friendly and obliging host. The unit was perfect for our needs, and it was bigger than it seemed from the photos. From the front of the unit, there are views over the north of the beach and the neighbours' front lawns were full of kangaroos at night. I would very happily rent the unit again on a future visit to Tathra.

Thanks Ian for a great stay! We loved the location - only a few minutes away from everything but in a nice quiet area of town. Loved that we were able to bring our dog along too. We had a wonderful week exploring Tathra and surrounding areas. Katie’s home was the perfect base and so beautifully set up with everything you need. Great location to be able to walk to the wharf, Chamberlain lookout, supermarket, Kianinny Bay and just generally explore the town. Thank you so much to Katie, Edith and Olive for letting us borrow your home for the week. We can’t wait to return!

Scott's place was an absolute pleasure to stay at. Very cozy, quiet and peaceful, with a stunning night sky. The location was very good as it was a 15 minute drive to Merimbula and ideal for trips to Eden and Pambula. Scott was very helpful - for example, when we didn't have hot water, he worked for hours to get it fixed for us and we appreciated it a lot. We also loved playing with Francis the dog!! Would highly recommend this place.

Anthony and Ana are superb hosts with regular communication. The location is so convenient and everything is within walking distance. We were so happy to explore Bermagui knowing we could return to a lovely comfortable residence.

We had a great time at the Lyrebird Lodge, it was an adventure finding the place but once we did it was a beautiful house, amazing view, and very private.

Great place to stay. After some hunting around we found great beaches, food and everything you would need. Very comfortable house thanks. Liked beaches, food nearby and in Merimbula. Plenty to do.

We loved our stay, great family time kayaking on lake and taking dog for walks. So peaceful and beautiful location. Such a great location in between Narooma and Bermagui. Cottage perfect for our family. Loved it. We will come again!

Our stay was fantastic, Luke was very helpful, the cabin was cosy. We saw a bunch of kangaroos right outside our door one evening and the Wonboyn beach in general was stunning.

Probably the best location possible between the ocean and the lake. Home facilities including the pool, barbie and everything you need, coupled with an amazing location for an easy walk to the beach and wharf. Ok it’s not 5 star in terms of brand new furniture, bathrooms and kitchen, but it is comfortable enough for an easy-going family holiday where you can easy wind down at home or outdoors. Peter was easy to reach, but we didn’t need a thing for the whole stay. We had a great time and would recommend for families with children. Thanks again Peter!

The accommodation was lovely and perfect for our overnight stay. We didn’t get the chance to explore the site as we were only on a short overnight stay during a road trip. However, the site looked lovely and clean and tidy

The place was very clean and tidy. We were very impressed with what was supplied. We will definitely be going back next year. This is the second time we have stayed at this place and loved it. We love Tuross Head.

Beautiful peaceful property on the edge of town with lots of outdoor space. Our kids loved the pool, cubby and fire pit! Beautiful beach just down the bush track. And the house is very well set up.

Colleen's place is great for families with dogs. Big TV, good internet, hot shower, and a brisk 8 minute walk to the beach, it was exactly what we wanted! And unlike some other listings, the house is *actually* dog friendly - if your dogs love sitting on the couch (like ours do), Colleen was perfectly happy to let us cover the couch with a couple spare sheets (which we brought ourselves). The only thing missing was a pantry - but we probably cook more than most visitors. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful family home located in a quiet, hilly part of town, with fantastic views from some bedrooms. Pool was very clean and welcoming for the kids. Perfect for our getaway. Also appreciated the well equipped kitchen for all our self catering needs.
