You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing at this time of year, such as Kamikochi, Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, Hakuba and Happo Pond.From the second half of August to September, after the bustle of summer, you can enjoy the slightly calmer atmosphere of Shinshu. Go to the mountains and highlands during the day, and the tranquility of Satoyama at night. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and a starry sky. Recommended for those who want to relax in Azumino, as well as for one or more night stays as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba. Convenient access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe.It can also accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays.There is a laundry machine and a bathroom with a dryer function, so you can have a comfortable stay even for extended periods. You can also come by public transport, but the area is more convenient to have a car. Free pick-up and drop-off are available at Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station.Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000 yen to 8,000 yen (round-trip fare) depending on the distance, within 2 hours each way.For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange a rental car, so please consult with us in advance. Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period.It was built in 1931 in this town, which has been selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings and still has lacquerware shops. Our house is available for rent as an entire house, limited to one group per day, without meals.It takes a little time to get around, and there is no supermarket or convenience store in this area, but I think that's why this place has a quietness and a casual, simple beauty to everyday life.It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. There are no screen doors in this old house in the valley of the mountains, so in the warm season, wildlife may come in.The 95-year-old building is not polished to a high shine down to the last detail.We are preparing to welcome you as clean as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with a big heart. We use the accommodation fees we receive from guests to repair the building, and I would like to start by taking care of this wonderful house for about 20 years so that it can be passed on to the next generation.

Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places nearby such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. Feel free to use the entire building, which has been renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, as well as the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery and the forest where the stream flows.You can see birds, squirrels, and martens in the forest, and you can enjoy walking around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
