[Autumn in Hakuba/Kamikochi] Entire house for rent for up to 12 people | 2 authentic saunas

Use Azumino and Ikeda-cho as your base in autumn for a trip to enjoy the spectacular views of the Northern Alps and the autumn foliage. From September to November, the autumn leaves gradually descend from the mountains to the villages in Shinshu. You can enjoy autumn scenery unique to each location, including Hakuba Happo Pond, Kamikochi, and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. During the day, head to the mountains and plateaus to see the autumn foliage. When you come back, relax in the sauna and water bath. In the evening, enjoy a BBQ and the starry sky while spending a peaceful time in the countryside. This is a private rental that can accommodate up to 12 people, so it is recommended not only for family and group trips, but also for couples and small groups staying for multiple nights. Convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. There is also a washing machine and a bathroom dryer for a comfortable extended stay. You can come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours one way. For groups of 5 or more, we can arrange a rental car, so please consult in advance. October and November are the seasons when you can enjoy the autumn leaves and the quiet of Shinshu. We recommend staying for multiple nights and taking a leisurely trip to explore the different autumn landscapes of Hakuba, Kamikochi, Azumino, and other areas.

Located in the middle of Toyama Prefecture, it is convenient for sightseeing in the east, west, south and north. To the east is the Tateyama mountain range, Niigata prefecture, to the south is Nagano, Hida Furukawa in Gifu prefecture, Takayama, Gokayama, to the west is Ishikawa prefecture, and to the north is Toyama city and Toyama bay, so you can get to the sea in about an hour. Spring begins with new greenery, fuki no to, plums, and a variety of wildflowers bloom, and there are the blessings of nature. There are many flowers in the garden in May and June, so please enjoy a walk. It is hot in summer, but there is a river breeze and many trees, so the shade is cool. You can also enjoy fishing in the Shintsu River that flows right next to the house. In autumn, you can also experience harvesting chestnuts, persimmons, etc. In winter, there are days when there is a lot of snow. For those who are not familiar with snow, shoveling snow will make you sweat, but I think it's fun. I hope you enjoy making igloos and snowmen. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

The house is surrounded by my favorite garden flowers and is full of greenery. There are many tall trees around that are 300-400 years old, covered in greenery, and birds chirping at any time are singing. The interior is beautifully finished with favorite accessories, antique stands, retro music boxes, furniture, etc. The room is created with large glass windows, and the surrounding greenery and sky are very beautiful and full of openness. The bus from Toyama Station is 15 minutes. The house is 5-6 minutes from Toyama IC by car, and there are many restaurants along the road. You can get to Toyama Station in 15 minutes to the north and Takayama in 90 minutes to the south on National Route 41. Toyama Airport is 3 km from the house and can be reached in 5 minutes.

"Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. The first floor is a living space with a dining table, and the second floor is a bedroom. From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance.
