Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. If you go a little further, there is the sea, mountains, rivers, valleys, and black water hot springs.(Within 10-30 minutes by car) You can use it as a base to enjoy the nature of Boso.The Chibanyan is world famous for fishing for smelt in Lake Takataki and for the magnetic reversal that happened hundreds of thousands of years ago.
