The Wheelhouse Inn - CROW'S NEST

The Crow's Nest is a standalone unit situated at the top of the property. It is the most spacious of our 5 accommodations with the biggest views. Every room has spectacular views over Tasman Bay to the ranges in the west. The Crow's Nest has 2 bedrooms ... the master with a king bed and the second bedroom with 2 singles. There is also a double pull-out sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooktop, stove, fridge, microwave, tea, coffee, sugar and a full range of crockery and cutlery. From there you can move to the dining room or out on to the spacious balcony which has a bbq and outdoor seating for casual dining. The lounge has a flat screen tv, dvd and there is Free WIFI. The bathroom is upstairs with the master bedroom and has a shower, toilet and also a washing machine and dryer. Free parking is directly outside your accommodation and the whole unit is surrounded by native bush.

A large glass door provides a view of the outdoor deck, framed by lush greenery. Mountains are visible in the distance, and the expansive layout allows natural light to fill the space. A side table with a plant adds a touch of warmth.

A spacious north facing apartment on Tahuna Hills with a leafy garden outlook and views of Tasman Bay and mountains. Our sunny apartment is on the lower level of our home. You have a separate private entry from your own west facing deck. An outdoor dining option with BBQ and outdoor bath are on the deck for your exclusive use. Super fast fibre internet & Netflix. Just 5 minutes by car to airport, beach, 10 minutes to central Nelson or Richmond and less than an hour to Abel Tasman National Park.

Situated under ten minutes drive to City, Beach, Golf Course, Airport. Overlooks the sea, mountains, beach. The Commodore Suite, situated on the entrance level of our house, is sunny, very warm, light and airy. One bedroom, bathroom, living area & kitchenette with 2 hobs, microwave, slow cooker, air fryer and bench top grill. BBQ available on the upper deck as is use of that deck. Washer and dryer available in our living area which guests always welcome to use. Not suitable for children.

We loved our stay! The place was very comfortable and included thoughtful guest touches like magazines, guides to Nelson and a few kitchen staples. We did have a little trouble locating the entrance to the building and the parking area. Angela was very responsive.

Paul’s house and setting matched our expectations from the listing. It was very clean, tidy, spacious, warm and nicely furnished. The lounge, dining and kitchen area looked out across the garden to the beach. Unfortunately it rained for most of our short stay so we didn’t take as much advantage of the outdoor setting and facilities as we might have otherwise done. Despite that our party of 4 adults and 3 children all enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and were quick to answer any queries we had.

Jamie was a wonderful host. She was very informative it was always available if we had any questions. We absolutely loved this place. We had a lovely couple of days here in this lovely place. Two minutes walk to shops and restaurants, private beach access yet completely quiet. Very well equipped kitchen. Amanda is lovely and helpful. We felt right at home. Will definitely return for a longer stay.
