We loved Gretel’s place - it was a beautiful spot and we felt right at home. It has a fantastic kitchen, a spacious living area, nice bedrooms and a great porch. The pool was really refreshing and was a nice escape from the afternoon heat. We also got to see some amazing wildlife close up - we were visited by some squirrel monkeys, a howler monkey, a toucan and a pair of Scarlett Macaws. It is in close proximity to Manuel Antonio National Park and a bunch of other excursions and near many great local restaurants. I highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at Gil's place!.... The house was exactly as pictured, location was perfect and the view at night is priceless.... We would definitely recommend this Airbnb and would love to stay here again.

This was one of the best places I have ever stayed away from home, and I travel a lot. The backyard of this house is the national park. This place was everything and more. We saw monkeys every day, multiple times a day. The monkeys passed right through the back yard and sat there to play and hang out in perfect view for 2-3 hours. Chipuken monkeys, squirrel monkeys, howler momeys, scarlet macaws, tucans, etc. We saw it ALL! The dip pool is awesome and you even have an ocean view! Definitely worth the booking. Sam and Raquel were absolutely amazing host and will take care of all your needs while you are there and will tell you all about the things to do and see. Highly recommend!!

We had such an incredible stay at casa blanco in hatillo. It way the perfect home away from home. The host was very responsive and accommodating. We traveled with 3 kids. 8yrs, 5yrs, and 8 months. They provided us with a crib and a high chair for the baby at no extra cost. The pool was the perfect size for our kids to play in and felt safe. The house is very secluded and felt super safe. We loved the town. We liked walking down the hill to the mini mart and getting pizza at pizza surf time. The kitchen also has AC which we weren’t expecting but we were happy to have it. The house is just a short drive to Dominical. It was a perfect stay and I highly recommend!

Fantastic stay! Beautiful, spotless home with amazing views, wonderful indoor/outdoor living space and all amenities you need. It was a gorgeous place to spend time and relax. Watching the macaws come and go was a highlight. Daily housekeeping was immaculate and Vanessa was friendly, responsive and helpful. The home is at the top of a very steep road so the free shuttle service down to the beach was helpful. We would definitely return for a stay here again.

Katrin’s place was large and had tons of space, enough to accommodate a large group. We also loved the pool. I would not recommend allowing her to book a night jungle tour on your behalf with the company Sukia, as we did not enjoy it and found it quite boring. There were also ants covering the kitchen and crawling constantly on the counters even though we were careful not to leave food items out unless we were actively using them. The ants are unavoidable in such a humid climate but we didn’t enjoy them and we also had some stowaways in our luggage that managed to leave with us. Hopefully we find and get rid of them all before we arrive to our home. Otherwise, her place was great and fully stocked. We do recommend this place if the aforementioned items aren’t deal breakers for you!

If you could give them 100 stars the host and his wife are incredible people friendly, sociable and very helpful, that place makes you feel at home, the beautiful and quiet environment, close to any beach and above all the perfect house, spotless, well equipped, soon we will be happy, a thousand times recommended. Alexander and Maria were so sweet. They were responsive and there for us. The place looks exactly like the pictures, rooms were clean and kitchen was well equipped. We could not find the hair dryer and when we brought it up to the host, they immediately went out to buy us a new hair dryer on the same day, which touched us deeply. The extra attention made us feel heard and cared for. They also cleaneed the outside of our apartment while we were there, which was extra appreciated considering we would come home with a lot of sand from the beach. Overall, great hosts. Location is a little remote, but the gated garage made us feel safer.

We really liked the place, very easy to get to, both Julie and her dad treated us very well and helped us when we had a problem, and we appreciate that they let us take our little dogs who are part of the family for us. We visited the boutique café that is right there and we also loved it, highly recommended

We very much enjoyed our stay! The apartment is lovely and clean, the kitchen is well-equipped (if you want to eat "at home" there is a supermarket just few walk-minutes away), and the common area is great - a shared swimming pool and a "watch" tower offer you a space to relax after an eventful day visiting the national park and surroundings. The co-host Jason was very friendly and helpful, we received plenty tipps for restaurants and things to do in the area. Nathalie, her husband, and their dog Lobo were the friendliest, most helpful hosts. Their passion for hosting and deep love for Costa Rican culture made our trip even more special. We had total privacy in casa iguane and enjoyed the gorgeous views from both our patio and the pool. My wife and I said daily how grateful we were to have found the best spot in MA. We will be back! Pura Vida!

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is very well equipped, extremely clean, tastefully decorated and the view is fabulous. Very convenient and comfortable with a very attentive host. Totally recommended!

We loved our stay here! The property was gorgeous, beautiful views both in the morning and evening. We loved opening the front doors and sitting in the rocking chairs to listen to the music downtown in the evening. Also very close to everything making it a super walkable!

Do yourself a favor and book this place now! We saw just as much wildlife if not more while in the Airbnb than the national park. Seeing monkeys carry their babies on their back on the porch while you drink coffee is a next level experience

The apartment is too nice an impressive view, neat with utensils easy to access to maintain cleanliness, super complete the kitchen has all the comforts for the preparation of food and a great variety of utensils and very spacious the living and dining room are fair to share with freedom of space, last and very important don Miguel's attention is very accurate, timely and very cordial, provides clear directions and responds in short waiting times. Without hesitation, I would recommend the price is fair and the place is very nice. One particularity is that in the condo people in general are very respectful and friendly.

My family loved our stay at the Toucan Condo at Chaman Villas. The condo was great with the two bedrooms and two baths. It allowed my kids to sleep in different beds. The kitchen is great and my kids enjoyed the balcony and looking for monkeys and sloths. We loved being able to swim in the pool (what looks like a hot tub is just a small pool with jets where the water spills into the pool below). A couple of things I would note: 1. The location is near the road and there are motorcycles that go by at all hours. 2. The condo itself requires going down about 15 steps and then back up 15 steps from the main walkway. 3. The unit is very secure with three different locks, from the property gate to the unit lock to the slider door lock. 4. If you want to see monkeys or sloths, the best time seemed to be early am (6am) or late morning (10am). Best viewing is by the pool but can also see from the balcony. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Toucan condo and would go back!

Perfect location between Emilio's Cafe and Hotel Mariposa. We walked to every fantastic meal we enjoyed. Loved the pool and the monkeys. Host's assistant Hector was very helpful and responsive. Thank you!!

The place is quite nice inside, very clean and comfortable beds and furniture. There is no noise from people.
