Charming private DAR SARAY in Fez Medina!

LaraRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful time at Houda’s place. They went above and beyond. Recommended activities and made us feel right at home. The riad is absolutely beautiful, well situated, clean and matches the listing’s description. Although the location is in the old town, a representative welcomed us in person and checked us in. Highly recommended.
The entryway features traditional Moroccan decor with intricate tile work and a decorative ceiling. A wooden dining table with chairs sits centrally, surrounded by vibrant mosaics. A staircase with ornate railings leads to the upper level, illuminated by natural light from overhead openings.

Dar Chez Khadija, paleis in hart medina Fez

AndraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Pim’s place was exactly as described, a beautifully decorated traditional home with a comfy terrace. The recommendations were spot on, it was great to have Yassin come get us from the parking lot. He was courteous and helpful and the breakfast served delicious. Pim helped us hire a great tour guide for half a day, ask for Hamid if interested.
An inviting interior showcases traditional Moroccan architecture, with ornate archways and soft lighting casting a warm glow. Decorative elements include potted plants and a tiled floor, creating a serene atmosphere. Comfortable seating areas are visible, ideal for relaxation and social gatherings.

Chic & Traditional Riad_ Close to Souks & Monuments

Sabine Suzana YasminaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A simply unforgettable family stay in this magnificent Riad in the heart of Fez. Upon arrival, we were charmed by the beauty of the place, mixing Moroccan authenticity and refinement. The Riad is a haven of peace, tastefully decorated and full of this unique magic that only the Fez medina can offer. Abdelali and his entire team were very attentive from start to finish. Their sincere hospitality, availability and attention to every detail made us feel at home. You immediately feel that this Riad has been thought out with passion: every corner breathes the love of a job well done, and Abdelali's soul is present at all times. The terrace offers stunning views of the Fez medina, a breathtaking panorama, especially at sunrise. The rooftop jacuzzi delighted the children, who spent moments of joy and relaxation there while we enjoyed the serenity of the place. Everything is perfect!

Dar Benares

XochiltRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wonderful stay at Dar Benaress. Mohammed and Nabilla are amazing hosts. Before we arrived, Mohammed asked if we’d like a list of things to do in and near Fes that he could arrange. It was our first time in Fes so we opted for both of the local tours and the hammam. We could not recommend them more and were so pleased we did those. The tours were informative and our guide helped us shop and took great care of us. Another option we arranged for was the home cooked meal. We initially thought we’d do that only one night, but Nabilla is such an extraordinary chef that we did it an additional two nights we were there of our four night stay. The riad itself is as beautiful and charming and magical as the pictures show. If not more. Amenities were as said. We couldn’t figure out the AC but the weather was fine so we didn’t bother to ask. The location is wonderful and Nabilla and Mohammed were very accommodating on arrival and when going on excursions. Would be lovely to visit again.

House of Figs - stylish house with stunning view

FasyaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Staying at Ian’s place was a truly wonderful experience. The house is full of charm, perfectly located in the heart of the Medina, and feels like home the moment you arrive. Ian is a fantastic host warm, attentive, and also a great chef! He made us breakfast and shared stories that added real depth to our stay. We used their guidebook to book a full-day tour in and around the Medina -one of the best parts of our trip. Personal tip: Since the house is deep inside the Medina, it’s easy to get lost in the maze. I highly recommend using their suggested guide. We went with Redha (hope I spelled that right!) and he was amazing , knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommended ⭐️
The central courtyard features intricate tile work and potted plants, creating a serene atmosphere. Several tables with wrought iron chairs are arranged around the space. A traditional patterned rug lies in the center, contributing to the overall harmony of the area.

Halima was an extremely kind and welcoming host. Although I don’t speak much French and she didn’t speak English, we were still able to make great conversation, with the help of Google translate. Her place is right by the old Medina, so all the major sightseeing and shopping is just near by. The new Medina is just a short 5 minute taxi ride away.

Phoenix apartment: private, breakfast included at 94 Mbit/s

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We were very happy with the apartment. Although it is a holiday apartment, a lavish breakfast was brought to the front door every day and cleaned the apartment in between. The kitchen had everything you need for cooking including many spices, vinegar and oil. We spent 4 days there and felt at home from the 1st minute. Many thanks to Adil and especially his super team.
A serene courtyard features a secluded pool surrounded by elegant tiles. Soft lighting highlights the space, with seating arranged nearby under arched doorways. Lush greenery adds a natural touch to the inviting ambiance, enhancing the overall tranquility of this communal area.

Traditional riad in the medina: family suite

AudreyRating, 5 stars24 months ago
Very nice Riad, great location for visiting the medina, 2 steps from the blue door. It will still take you for check-in the help of a cart to find the riad the first time. The photos of the riad are below reality, it's even more beautiful! Our Opal Suite for 4 was great. I just regret some smells of sewage lift in the bathroom and a pity that there is no salty offered in breakfast. Hamman at the riad great, thank you to the nice lady who made us have a very good time.
A bright bedroom features intricate ceiling detailing and soft, ambient lighting. A spacious bed is complemented by plush linens, while a cozy seating area is present. Colorful windows illuminate the room, contrasting with the warm tones of the tiled floor.

Typical Room at Riad Fes Unique

EmilyRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The stay was very nice and the location was very good. Only at night it was a bit spooky to walk through the dark alleys as a woman. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Abdo helped us a lot and also took us to the blue gate. The first night we stayed in a somewhat narrow room but the other nights we were able to sleep in a larger room, which was more pleasant. The only suggestions for improvement are a full-length mirror, as the mirror in the bathroom is very small and the mattress has been quite hard, so we could not sleep so well, and there was also that the walls are very clairaudient. Overall, however, it was a nice stay and we thank you for the wonderful time.

Superior Double Room " DADA " Riad Dar Belmamoun

JoselitoRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The riad is in a very good location, close to the royal palace, park, souk. The welcome is super warm, the breakfast hearty, clean and very pleasant riad despite the fact that it is located in a slightly dirty alley of the old medina and the noise of children playing outside in the evening. But that's also the charm of the Moroccan people. Hosts are available, accommodating. I would recommend it without moderation, we liked it so much that my 13-year-old son who is with me tells me that this is where he wants to come back if we return to Fez. I visit Morocco 2 or 3 times a year and this place is one of my favorites because of the warm welcome of the Moroccans.

Moulay Idriss - Terrace views of Volubilis

ChrisRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We enjoyed our stay. Rose was extremely responsive. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The roof terrace is amazing. Breakfast was delicious. A simple thought like making sure there was an extension lead at the side of the bed to charge our phones was good. The place was suprisingly very quiet.

Chambre double Gerania Riad Dar Lantana

LouisaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
We recommend staying with Catherine. If you come by car you can park in the underground parking lot at the Blue Gate. It is a bit pricy there (ca. 362 MAD for 3,5 days). From there you can walk through the medina to the stay, which takes 10 minutes. You have great access to the sights, restaurant and banks. The bathroom and bed are great. The WiFi is ok, for VPN it is too weak. We used the laundry service, 1 load for washing and air drying is 70 MAD. The daily room cleaning was very great! The feline co host Oscar is very cute! We enjoyed our time there :)

2 Rooms with Bed & Breakfast

ParagRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This Riad was deep inside the old town from the Cinema Cafe. It was no problem getting there, however as he sent a friend to fetch us. Mr. Abdelfattah stays with his family and we got plenty of tea and an excellent home cooked breakfast with coffee & fresh orange juice. The house has 2 rooms for guests - both very well furnished. The top room is better with an airy window. The terrace sit-out is literally the "High Point" of the house. Incredible views of the Fez old town, and the mountains The host is high energy and very very attentive
