Nice location, smooth communication with host

Govinda and Chetana treated me like their family during my stay, picking me up at the airport, providing nice food, and solving my enquiries as possible as they can. The food there is super tasty, and all authentically from their farm. I really enjoyed the organic lifestyle and relaxing vibe staying with them. So, after one night stay, I chose to be back for another three more days, got myself recharged as my first stop in Pokhara. Highly recommend. I would like to go back one day if I visit Pokhara again.

If you are looking for a true Nepalese experience, then this is the only place to stay. I would 100% recommend staying here if you want to really know what it’s like to live sustainably and within an untouched Nepalese community. Ashwin was a dream host and now a true friend!

Nous sommes restées 1 nuit dans l’hôtel. Durga a été très réactif et nous a envoyé un taxi pour nous récupérer à Dumre. Si il n’était pas là pour nous accueillir, Sushan a été adorable et serviable. Le lit était très confortable, la chambre avait une très belle terrasse d’où nous avons pu apercevoir l’Himalaya malgré la saison des pluies ! L’hôtel est un peu en retrait par rapport à la rue principale ce qui le rend beaucoup plus tranquille mais à 5min à pieds. Le petit dej était parfait ! Un grand merci :)

The Pigeon Homestay is an absolute gem in Kathmandu! Ketan, the owner, is the best host ever—so kind, attentive, and welcoming. He goes out of his way to make sure every guest feels at home. The rooftop terrace is a highlight; it’s the perfect spot to unwind with a drink and enjoy the serene surroundings. The girls working there are also incredibly lovely and helpful, adding to the warm and friendly atmosphere. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful stay or a base to explore Kathmandu, this homestay is perfect. I couldn’t recommend it more!

Rukum Dai and his family were extremely welcoming and kind to us. Having young children whilst traveling can be difficult at times but they accommodated our every need. Very warm and friendly family and their nightly Thakali dinner was so delicious. Definitely recommend this homestay

Amazing house, decoration is awesome and the place is very comfortable. But, the thing that makes this place stand out is the staff. Dipesh and Asis were super friendly and attentive. They did everything in their power to make our stay perfect. Thank you. We had a great time.
