Family-friendly vacation rentals in Tamarin

a superb holiday in a faithful and comfortable rental. adapted and dunctional pool. Good hygiene and a verandah with ocean views. the furniture is in the theme of the island and gives a lot of charm to the stay. the only downside is the weak wifi in some rooms of the house, otherwise there is nothing to say. very good stay and the pool was a plus for all the family. The concierge is really great and responsive.

My wife and I stayed in Nicolas' home on our honeymoon, and we could not have been happier. Nicolas' brother, Armand, was generous enough not only to pick us up at the airport (about 45 minutes away from the home), but also to show us a good breakfast spot and eat with us on the beach, find us a car to rent and then drive us to the car rental place and help us coordinate, jump our car later in the week when it wouldn't start, and stock the fridge with a few essentials. Aside from his incredible hospitality, the house is a dream: four gorgeous bedrooms (the one we stayed in even had air conditioning!), and an unbeatable view from two patios that we ate breakfast on every morning. The house is conveniently located to great beaches and Mauritius tourist attractions (Casela Nature Park, Black River Gorges, Tamarin Falls, just to name a few, and not too far of a drive from the south's main attractions either). If we ever return to Mauritius, it will definitely be to this home!

We stayed for a week at Harry and Malini's. The accommodation is very well located, close to the sea and shops. I have nothing else to say, our week was excellent! Thanks to them for hosting us and for their kindness.

great stay! the villa is very large with 4 suites...with bathroom and outdoor shower. and large space. the beautiful and amazing pool! we also took the services of Poorinha who is very helpful and cooks wonderfully! in summary: excellent stay in the villa just a note about the condition of the house which is fine but is starting to age a little.

Lovely flat. It is about a 5 minute walk to the beach one way and 10 minutes the other way Parking is easy, good internet. And excellent value and communications. The big tv was great during the cyclone. We just used our Netflix account. A few small downsides The Hottub is run down and cloudy The terrace furniture is old and worn. If it rains you won’t be able to use the cushions for days. The kitchen could be better equipped. Wouldn’t have been an issue save for the cyclone None of those things were big issues for us We would definitely return. 6 days there cost the same as 2 days in our hotel in Belle Mare.

The location in the middle of the national park is fantastic. Quiet and safe, but you won't get very far without a rental car. The house was much nicer than you could have guessed before and the perfectly equipped kitchen surprised us very much. We have never had such good amenities in an Airbnb Everything was clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the time. The pool was pleasant and the air conditioning in the rooms worked very well. Only in the living area it was very warm, unfortunately you could not spend much time there. Mosquito spray is highly recommended but that applies to the whole island. Thank you for the great time.

Florian's house perfect to me and my friend! We had a absolutely pleasant 2 weeks here. The house is in a quiet street, like a villa place, pure living area. Means not many restaurants nearby, but there is a perfect kitchen with all necessary equipments, we can cook whatever we want. The house not far from the center of Port Louis as well as big malls. It’s convenient for stay. I highly recommend this place and definitely will book again if I come to Mauritius in the future.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights and it was fantastic. The property and the entire estate complex, in which the property is situated, is a delight. Mr. Roelf provided with very specific instructions for checking in and provided with necessary information. The amenities provided by him were amazing, including board games and tennis rackets and scooters to commute within the estate complex. It has a great tennis court. Now, specifically the situation of the property is such that it's overlooking the mountains and estate itself serves as a private yacht parking for individual houses. The view is beautiful even when you're simply relaxing at the private deck. The location point could serve as a central point for going either way to Tamarin,Le Morne,Casela Park,Seven Colored earth and Grand Bassin. There are a couple of supermarkets within 3 kms range. The only missing thing was a water purifier for drinking water at the property. Rest all was great. Overall, a wonderful experience

The villa was great value for money. There were 9 of us (5 adults and 4 children) and we had plenty of space. The location was great as we walked onto the main road to get food or shopping each night. The walk to the beach was very short too and was nice to be able to watch the sunset there. The host was very responsive to questions and requests we had. Would like to come and stay again.

It was such a warm couple by these lovely couple who kept in constant touch with us from the time I booked their property. The location is extremely convenient. The stay was very comfortable. Highly recommend it!!! Thank you both 🙏

We had a great stay at a very nice place. The rooms are very spacious, nicely equipped and the roof terrace is a real highlight! We used both the jacuzzi and pool and can recommend both. Flic en Flac is a lively place with restaurants and bars and good shopping. The supermarket jumbo in the village has good opening hours and a large offer. The location of the accommodation is great for the beach and many other activities also in other parts of the island. The bus station is right on the street next to the house, which is great for excursions. The landlords and also the security staff are very very nice, helpful and always available. We had a great time and would love to come back.

The house made our stay. It’s quite private and has lovely outside seating. A little paradise. Le Morne beach is a five minute walk, great for snorkling and swimming . You are facing due west so wonderful sunsets. The house was regularly cleaned by lovely Christine and Elizabeth the owner always responded to our requests. I can’t recommend it enough and we would definitely go back .

Set in a very quiet street and a very easy walk to the beach and shops. The main supermarket as Cascavelle is a 10 minute drive. The apartment is just as described and tastefully decorated with everything you need for a short or long term stay. There's plenty of space with a large dining area, well equiped kitchen with an added extra of a water filter jug. Beautifully decorated bedrooms, one with an en suite and also a large seperate shower and toilet for the other bedroom. The open plan lounge area has comfotable seating and a tv. There is a seperate breakfast bar by the kitchen hatch area. AC is available in the bedrooms and lounge. There is a small covered seating area outside. I was able to put my car inside the property. Wifi reception is very good. The property was spotlessly clean and I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you want easy access to many of the beautiful sights in the south of Mauritius. We were allowed to spend 10 nights at Amelie's. She is a great host with lots of tips and nice conversations. The property is centrally located in Tamarin, shopping nearby and less than 1 km to Tamarin Public Beach. Through the hostess' garden you can reach the beach for wonderful sunsets and in the morning you can discover dolphins. The place is nice and large and has a great outdoor kitchen with living area right by the pool. If you are a light sleeper, you may be awakened by car traffic in the morning. The southwest of Mauritius is perfect for hiking in the national park and many other activities. We would stay at Amelie's again on our next visit to Mauritius.

A perfect and worry-free stay! Our experience was excellent, from booking to checkout. Everything was simple and smooth. The host is easily reachable and very responsive, quickly answering our questions. Check-in and check-out times were flexible, which is a real plus. The accommodation was impeccable, clean and well maintained. Be careful, however, remember to bring an adapter for your electronic devices, as the sockets are type C and G in Mauritius. Parking is easy and the building is particularly quiet. We also recommend the nearby pizzeria, Seven Pizza: warm welcome, delicious and generously topped pizzas. During the holiday season, we were lucky enough to enjoy a 360° view from the shared top floor terrace, offering a magnificent view of the fireworks set off all around. A magical experience!

Great stay at Isabelle's who is a simply amazing host. In addition to the many tips about the surrounding area, we offered a guided tour of the south of the island and put us in touch for a dolphin and sperm whale boat tour. Top floor apartment with superb sea view terrace to see the most beautiful sunset. No complaints, go ahead! Thank you Isabelle

Karine was very friendly and helpful. The place is pretty nice. Unfortunately, we overlooked the fact that there is no dishwasher and therefore had to wash dishes the entire vacation. The listing also did not mention it, but we assumed that a dishwasher would be available at such a place. Well, a small downside to an otherwise very nice stay.

Jean Christophe, his family and Agnes were all warm, helpful and generous hosts. The house and location were even better than the photos and the kindness afforded by the nearby family and the housekeeping team was fabulous. I will miss looking up at Le Morne from the pool 💔 but we will be back! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home.

Great host who can be counted on. impeccable bungalow and with all the comforts. Wifi, gated parking, close to the beach, clean pool. Possibility to have small Mauritian dishes cooked by a stove for a good price and hearty ready for the evening when you return, a luxury! we'll be back, that's for sure.

Accommodation that is larger in person than in the photos, beautiful terrace with barbecue that we used a lot. Very quiet building with private parking space. Beautiful communal pool. Very clean accommodation.

A very nice house, well-equipped, cheerful and colorful decoration. The pool, which is shaded, stays cool; it's very nice to wake up in the morning or relax at the end of the day! We were there for work, with a colleague. The location is convenient enough to access Port-Louis and the main activity areas, while avoiding being in the city and having the appeal of the coast (small beach of La Pointe nice to go watch the sunset). Michael warmly welcomed us and was always very responsive and accommodating. I recommend it.
