The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

Das Outdoor Camp Hohenfelden befindet sich direkt auf dem Gelände des Campingplatzes Hohenfelden. Es liegt idyllisch direkt am See und verfügt über einen eigenen Zugang zum Wasser. Der Gruppe steht ein Aufenthaltsraum inkl. Küche und Geschirr, eine Terrasse mit Überdachung sowie eine Lagerfeuerstelle zur Verfügung. Die Übernachtung erfolgt in Hütten. Das Camp wird nur jeweils an eine Gruppe vermietet. Aus Rücksicht auf die Urlauber und Gäste des Campingplatzes sind keine Partytreffen möglich.
