Vacation rentals with a kayak in Talladega County

The vacation was beautiful. We loved just hanging out on the dock and kayaking up and down the lake. We enjoyed fishing and playing pool. We loved it so much that we spent the majority at the house hanging out on the dock. Laura was friendly, prompt in responses, and helpful.

The Riverside Retreat has lots of space for big groups, and it would be a good deal if your group is indeed large. For a smaller family (4), and it being wintertime, we didn't feel like we got as much bang for our buck. That said, the surroundings are lovely, and the back porch area as well as the dock and all the water toys (kayaks, peddle boat, etc.) would be super fun in warmer, drier weather.

If you are looking for a place on the lake this is perfect! We were actually there because it was close our daughter’s wedding venue. We didn’t spend alot of time there. I would love to come back to truly be able to enjoy all of the amenities. Lake view is awesome!

really good accommodations and would love to stay there again

I loved being at this place for the weekend! We were able to fish the little lake and play catch with her dog. Debra was so sweet and very easy to get ahold of.

This was the second time I had stayed here and I love the place . It’s close to where I am working and is quiet.

Patricia’s Lake Haven was the best property and provided such a nice, unique experience for my family. We had the most restful, relaxing stay in the houseboat. The sunrise was breathtaking. The hosts were so helpful and kind. My children enjoyed fishing and riding around in the canoe as a family. We are so glad we had this experience. The houseboat was more spacious than I had thought it would be! It was so nice I side and so comfy and roomy. We’re so glad we stayed and hope to return!

Our stay at the silo was great. Silo was ready and spotless upon arrival. Loved the farm setting and having the horses at our front door. Loved being able to go anywhere on the farm to interact with the animals. Our son fished with the mini horses at his side which was cute to see. We did shop at the farm store so this was cute. Steve was friendly and responded quick if needed. Silo is located close to town but felt like it was out in the country. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was great for our extended family of 11. It was peaceful and the boat launch was perfect for putting our boats in. Brad was a great host!
