Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Takasaki

Amazing historical house. It's not for everyone but it's fascinating to see how people would've lived back then! Host was amazing as well. Left way more snacks and drinks than I could finish, and offered lots of great advice for the area, and always checking up on me to ensure I am comfortable!

I rented this for myself as a getaway in the mountains with my guitar and I was not disappointed. From start to finish this was the best Airbnb stay I've ever had. I made the mistake of going late to the town and missed all of the buses and taxis services. The host graciously at the late hour called one for me and got me out of that situation. They went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing stay. I will be staying here every single time I'm in the area.

My second stay with Tomoyuki since two years ago. Everything went beautifully as expected. The weather was not cooperating on one of the four days but that allowed me to stay in to enjoy this vintage tradition home and felt the tranquility it presented itself on a rainy day. The hike nearby was kimochīi (feeling great). The izakayas recommended were subarashī (wonderful). Tomo introduced me to spend a day at Mashiko. The famous pottery town was preparing for the upcoming Golden Week event and I appreciated "the calm before the storm" time strolling the quiet town. Some keepsakes were bought. I look forward to another visit soon, maybe in a different season to appreciate the range of activities available around the area.

日本で初めてのスキーや、そもそも雪を見るのがほとんど初めての外国人もいるなか、素敵な宿泊施設でいい思い出が沢山できました。12人でも広々と寛ぐことができました！オーナーご夫婦もとても親切な方々でした。

Great little apartment in the heart of a lot. Lots of restaurants, convenience stores and laundry services around. Very close to the rail system. However if you are expecting to be in the heart of Tokyo this is not the place. Tokyo Disney by train is a least 1.5 hours away with several transfers. Lovely neighborhood otherwise, several parks nearby making it nice to get out and stroll in the mornings and/or evenings. The neighborhood really comes alive at night. Almost seems like an entirely different area. Very friendly and accommodating host!

We (a couple in our 40s) stayed here for almost a month in March and April. We loved it! The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The house was cozy and the host very friendly, responsive, helpful, and flexible. We enjoyed cooking local produce in the house, running in the surrounding areas, visiting the onsens, snowboarding, and driving to the mountains. There is good Internet and space to work remotely. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and pots and pans, etc. Although you do not need a car because the train station and grocery are a 15-minute walk and there is a restaurant within five-minute walk, having a car opened the surroundings up to us—all the wonderful nature and onsen and small towns. Nagano station is 45 minutes by train.

Toshiko was responsive, helpful, and gracious as a host—she met us for our check-in and check-out and was communicative throughout our stay. The apartment is a part of Toshiko’s house but it has a separate entrance. Note that you need to go up a tight set of stairs to reach the apartment, which might be difficult for some. The space was definitely close quarters, and I would say with us being three adults with normal-sized luggage we were at the limit. But it was clean and comfortable for our needs. It is located on a quiet residential street within walking distance to several train stations (most involved some sort of a hill)—we used Yoyogi-Uehara station since it was most convenient for us and it had a couple streets nearby containing a nice selection of restaurants. That station worked well for touring Tokyo, but we realized we needed to budget an extra 30-45min to get to central stations for day trips we had planned. With reasonable expectations, you’ll enjoy your stay!

The house close to everything you could need, but far enough away to escape the busy central Tokyo. perfect location to stay with children, everything was working, safe and comfortable. highly recommend!

The place is small but well organised and clean. I liked the location in quiet neighbourhood. The station is not far. I can recommend staying in Sayoko's apartament.

It’s my second time staying at the Nozawa Gondola Apartments. Different room this time but just as wonderful as before. Clean nicely designed house, well equipped kitchen, and can’t ask for a better location if you’re headed for the slopes!

Great place for 4 adults and 2 young children. Although one bathroom, but two separate toilet definitely make it easier to share with two families. There is a play room upstairs, my two round kids love it so much! The host is exceptional, helped us organise the private airport picking up services with a competitive rates. The location of the house is great. Walking distance to attractions, food, convenience shops and train stations. There’s also a lift for easy transport. The place provides all the stuff you needed. We had some wet days and used their umbrellas. Overall, we had really good time staying there. Thank you again.

2度目の滞在でした。今回も本当に素晴らしい時間を過ごせました！ 今回は桜の時期に合わせて両親を連れて伺いました。敷地内には満開の桜が咲き誇り、プライベートな空間でのお花見は格別でした。前回は夏の終わりに訪れたのですが、四季折々の景色が楽しめるのもこの場所の大きな魅力だと思います。 広々とした空間を貸切で利用でき、他のゲストと顔を合わせることもなく、静かで本当にリラックスできる環境です。 サウナは使い方も簡単で、水風呂やリラックススペースが川沿いに設けられており、自然と桜に囲まれながらゆったりとととのう時間を楽しめました。露天風呂では、鳥のさえずりや川の音を聞きながら、癒しのひとときを過ごすことができました。 バーベキュースペースには屋根があるので天候を気にせず楽しめますし、道具も全て揃っていてとてもスムーズ。アメニティも非常に充実していて、ダイソンのドライヤーやコテ、美味しい紅茶やコーヒーまで…まるで高級ホテルのような贅沢さです。 Switchやカードゲーム、カラオケなどもあり、家族みんなで楽しめました。時間が許せば延泊したいくらい、本当に最高の滞在でした。 また必ず伺います。ありがとうございました！

We had a wonderful stay at Koichi’s place. A living room facing forest and all the setting was beautiful. A perfect get away from a city. Koichi was friendly and kind in every way.

Nataria’s place is beautiful and clean. The lodge looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The airbnb is located in a very quiet and beautiful forest. Tourist attractions are easily reachable as well which made this the perfect place to stay. Nataria was very welcoming and flexible. We would definitely stay there again!

会社の仲間たち11名で宿泊し、素晴らしい体験ができました。 事前のやり取りでのレスポンスもとても早く、軽井沢の相場から考えるととても安かったように思います。 水回りや寝室、寝具などもとても清潔で、機会があればぜひまた利用させていただきたいです。 薪ストーブも普段はできない体験でメンバーみんなが喜んでいました。

Truly pet- friendly hotel, lots of pets supplies prepared in the living room which is so sweet and relived. The house is so clean and well-equipped, we can find basically everything in the house. The view is also gorgeous, having breakfast at terrace was an enjoyable experience. Great space for vacation and relaxing with family and group of friends.
